(in all seriousness though i feel like the next Greatest Hits comp should have nearly every single including some of the promo/regional singles, the 4 singles included in the Ultimate 7' collection+ some other notable songs like King, Last Night On Earth, Jimmy, Letterbomb) (actually can they just make Ultimate 7' Vinyl Singles 2, now with a CD version and singles past 21CB?) 2 Quote

How about these: Last Night On Earth and Letterbomb did chart, as well as many other album cuts that popped off. Around 23 if wikipedia isn't a dufus today. Quote
Popular Post GreenDayJunkie86 Posted April 21 Popular Post Posted April 21 Hey everyone! I know this is a bit random, but I just wanted to thank all of you for being so kind. Popular Post solongfromthestars Posted April 26 Popular Post Posted April 26 I keep seeing conservatives trying to insult Billie and Tre on social media with 'they look like old lesbians' and I never wade into the cesspits that are internet comment sections, but in these cases I'm really having to restrain myself from pointing out that Billie and Tre would not be offended. 6 1 Quote

Exactly! Same when someone calls them Green Gay… 1 Quote

I can only think they are envious of GD's success. Album sales of almost 94m, shows how much the band are appreciated, enjoyed for so many years and loved. And the band know and appreciate that. They don't realise what they are missing. Sad really. I'm sure the band just ignore them for what they are. 4 Quote
Popular Post Montclare Posted April 26 Popular Post Posted April 26 The thing I find funny is the number of people insulting them on fanpages. Not the band/members pages, but like Green Day Italy, etc. It's sad enough to be on the official page of someone you hate, but how empty does your life have to be to hate obsess on a fanpage? 8 Quote

Sorry going of at a tangent a tad. But you've reminded of the time back in '90s when they where vilified and even hated, for signing to major label to make Dookie, although it was the right thing to do. And having to leave 924 Gilman Street as well. That must have really hurt. I remember I was so sad for them. 1 Quote

suffoKate Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Hello, beautiful and badass community. I had a timeline question. Did Jason join Pinhead G pow before the release of dookie? There’s a show at club komotion where he played with them claiming to be from 2/12/1994 (it’s a seriously rocking show, just watch it ASAP). Possibly the debut of geek stink . In any case, he has been associated with the band for a very long time. I guess what is Jason’s earliest appearance with PG n GD respectively. Much respect fam haha Quote
Popular Post Mollyluna Posted April 28 Popular Post Posted April 28 Interesting observation on Spotify: GD are up from 31,6 million monthly listeners before Coachella to 33,8 million now. They seem to have made an impact there! 7 Quote

Robbie1039 Posted May 5 Posted May 5 The band Turnstile is to hardcore music as to Green Day was to punk music. 1 Quote

People can't have much going for them. I see it with other bands too and it's sad and laughable at the same time. When you don't have anything good to say why do you keep spending your time talking about them. 4 Quote
jengd Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Finally got round to listening to the east Bay Yesterday podcast about Murray Bowles. An interesting listen, GD get a few mentions, including thanks for taking care of the print cost of $30,000. 4 Quote

I listened to it on Apple Music, the podcast had lyrics-style captions that synced with the audio, which made it easy to follow and search😆 Thanks for sharing! 1 Quote
Psycho Britney Posted May 6 Posted May 6 OK, so I was just Googling GD tour as you do, and this was one of the AI results: Green Day is currently scheduled to play at the Download Festival in the UK on June 11th and 13th, 2025. While there's no specific announcement for a full UK tour in 2026, Ticketmaster and Songkick indicate they may have more UK dates in 2025-26. They are touring across Europe in 2025, so it's possible they'll return to the UK in 2026, Impericon says. I would absolutely love it if this was true, but I don't know. What do you reckon? Is it a snowballs chance in hell or actually plausible?🤨 I was just wondering if they'd do anything for the Insomniac anniversary maybe.💁♀️ Quote
jengd Posted May 6 Posted May 6 No, sadly think after the European dates this summer they will go to ground. Hopefully to work in next album, after a break of course. Quote
