It’s not clear which show they were referring to in Cuatro because the film edit gets the timeline all out of order. But speaking generally it was true. That was some uncomfortable waters for them.

I streamed it with GDC users at the time and everyone was excited and pretty positive about the new music 

I remember first hearing Viva La Gloria and was extremely excited.

Hm, so yeah going from one to the other might have been a step down, at least from their perspective. They all looked pretty wild to watch on video so hard to tell.  
 

I still would love to see them attempt this again for FOAM, these songs are so danceable and made for clubs.

I agree and it’s making me sad. I get that casual concert goers aren’t as excited about news song as I am but this club was perfect

You could make one now. All four songs he did for it have been released and the other songs from the movie (like Exploding Hearts, Jakob Danger, etc.) are available on Spotify.  Just go through the film credits and make a playlist.

I'm pretty sure that their Awesome As Fuck concert (Saitama, Japan 2010) was their best ever. I recently discovered audience recordings of that show and it's really impressive how good Billie Joe actually sounded there.
