That Dude Posted February 3 Posted February 3 It's a bummer to see the comments whenever Green Day is mentioned on Facebook. Only two types of comments: "Green Day were good until they brought politics into it. Worst band ever!" "Who are these old lesbians?" Anti-social media, man. 3 Quote

Oh my god it really is the same thing every time. It sucks that it's in every comment section but it's just cringe Trump worshippers who were never fans. It's not people who used to like them changing their opinion it's just haters and people who know nothing about them getting exposed to posts about them when they wouldn't have in the past because of how shitty the Facebook algorithm is now purposely ragebaiting people to comment by showing them things their demographic might dislike. The lesbian comment is so stupid because they wouldn't even consider it an insult since they're not bigoted losers. 8 Quote

Don't they know green day has been a political band since forever? If the government doesn't kill us it will be these dumbasses 🙄 1 Quote

Popular Post That Dude Posted February 6 Popular Post Posted February 6 Billie wearing non-tight pants makes me uncomfortable. 😄 It's very unBillielike. People in the real world keep telling me I'm autistic. These two things may or may not be related. You guys would know - my posts are always totally normal, right? 6 Quote

Gwen Stacy Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Record Store Day list came out for this year and again, nothing from Green Day. When was the last time they did anything for RSD? Demolicious? It’s a bummer because of how closely they’re tied in with 1234 Go! you’d think this would be something that’s on their radar. *sigh* 1 Quote

Already six years since I've bought it, time flies man.. 3 Quote

Especially as it's 25th anniversary this year. Another anniversary box set maybe a coming to a record store near you very soon? 🤪 3 Quote

I'm so sick of standing out in the cold, way too early in the morning to get maybe two records 2 Quote
stories and songs Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I just watched Blue Velvet for the first time and learned the origin of “Heineken? Fuck that shit!” in My Generation. 2 Quote

The lists just haven't been all that compelling for me the last few years. 2 Quote

Usually, releases from The Cure and Green Day will draw me to RSD but this year's Cure release is pretty lame and no Green Day is a guarantee that I'll be sleeping in on April 12th 1 Quote
Montclare Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Barista: Happy Valentine's Day! Me: Thanks, you too. Proceeds to press play, only to have the next line I hear be "I don't believe in Valentines." Damn Fink. 3 Quote
Undómiel Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I was gonna start a thread "has anything bad ever happened to you at a GD concert?" but then decided it would be too much of a bummer 😅 1 Quote

Luckily i was glaring so hard, and the person next to me had heard, that he fucked off double quick. Like, I'm used to hands going on places because in the pit it gets a bit squishy and wild. But UP someone's shorts leg, basically to the crotch? That doesn't happen by accident. I think i was 23 at the time. These days I would have reported the fuck out of him. 1 2 Quote
