I guess the videos simplicity is supposed to reflect the simplicity of the music and the era its from. A few shots of Billie and Norah playing and singing mixed into the video would have been nice

This one is about being passive and forlorn and vaguely vengeful, with the vengeance being 'you'll miss me if I ever eventually leave' - because if you notice in the song it's 'when I leave', not 'I'm fucking outta here, eat my dust'.
