Undómiel Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Billie just tweeted about it. You must have read his mind.
Undómiel Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Maybe theanswer is Billie That's a scary thought.
IsaGreenDay Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Billie Joe Armstrong @BJAofficial4m Hey check out Long Time Gone on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZeUHLAh_r4 … #billiejoeandnorah @NorahJones
Velocity Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Meh, would've been better if they'd interspliced shots of Billie and Norah playing.
November's Storms Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 It's a nice video. Nice lighting, scenery etc but I was waiting for something to happen.
Steven Seagull Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 How do you embed soundcloud to gdc?
MaraGreenDay Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 What an ugly video! I was hopping the video would show Billie and Norah recording the song or something like that
halfempty Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Not a great video, but I'm surprised they made one at all. What's with the subtitles though?
JIGD13 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Thank God I'm not the only one that doesn't like it
AngelBlue_ Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Still better than Oh love jk nothing special but it's ok
Certified Nimrod Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Still better than Oh love At least Oh Love's video has the band in it.
Alan86 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I guess the videos simplicity is supposed to reflect the simplicity of the music and the era its from. A few shots of Billie and Norah playing and singing mixed into the video would have been nice
Guest Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I was expecting her to light something on fire, but sadly it did not happen. Otherwise I dug the simplicity.
Florence Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Wow that was a bit boring.. but it was well made! I wish Billie & Norah appeared in the video. That's a scary thought. OMG sorry not sorry ok I'm very sorry.
Tubbie Head Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 The video was a bit boring, I was always expecting to see them popping in at some point! It's not bad though.
lizziebix Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I like it. I didn't mind not seeing Billie and Norah (especially since he posted what he said was the only picture of them recording so obviously it wasn't filmed either). I still liked it.
Johnny Higher Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 The video is pretty boring, nothing happens. Like most of us here, I wished to watch Billie Joe & Norah sing and play along the song.
DTH Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 oh god... this video is just screaming one thing to me: "cliché"... excuse me while i grab my fucking USA flag and leave my trailer while you look at my cowboy boots. thats the shittiest video i watched in a long time. and i actually like the project with nora.
justcause Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I was expecting her to light something on fire, but sadly it did not happen. Otherwise I dug the simplicity. If she was the kind of person to light something on fire, it'd be a whole other kind of song. This one is about being passive and forlorn and vaguely vengeful, with the vengeance being 'you'll miss me if I ever eventually leave' - because if you notice in the song it's 'when I leave', not 'I'm fucking outta here, eat my dust'.
