Green Day played Jason White's Birthday party in Oakland last night

Last night Green Day played Jason White's 40th Birthday Party in Oakland at a bar called The Night Light (a mere 10 mins from my apartment.) I didn't go, but the bar posted a picture on their Facebook page earlier this afternoon. Apparently it was a night of Jason celebrating bands he'd been in past and present. Also on the bill were The Big Cats (as most of you know as his hometown Little Rock band) AND a reunion of The Influents, who broke up 10 years ago this month.

I never would have been invited, but I am kicking myself this happened so close.

Instead of happy birthday the band played an acoustic version of Jason's favourite Green Day song. "Baby baby it's sudoku time."

Which he accompanied on the recorder.

Would be awesome but I doubt it, I imagine it'd be more difficult than ever to get them together with Aaron living in New York and Bill not being part of the Green Day crew now.

He was originally then left in 2000 but in the instagram picture posted, it's clearly Bill. Plus it's always possible Aaron flew in from New York.
