Fuzz Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 With the news of the devasting typhoon that hit the Philippnes over the weekend, we decided to try and help in some way by auctioning some autographed items. For starters we have this 11x17 concert poster from the Irving Plaza show in September 2012. It's autographed by Billie, Mike, and Tre. Check out the auction here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181260513260
lizziebix Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Not a bad bidding start. Already up to $32!Great cause. Great idea!
gmcloughlin Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Delighted to see GDA trying to help out. It's heartbreaking to see whats happened out there
Fuzz Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 Had to double-check to make sure I cropped my feet out of the picture. That would have been awkward for everyone.
Drop Dead Hideous Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Such a great cause and idea. Deeply touched by the love and care that this community is giving. In behalf of the people in my country, We deeply thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts especially to Andres
lizziebix Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Had to double-check to make sure I cropped my feet out of the picture. That would have been awkward for everyone.Right, because somone would surely ask if those feet belonged to Billie Joe, Mike or Tré!!!
Sarcasm Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 If anyone wants to buy a original Mike Dirnt guitar pick (got it from a show), you can get it from me and I'll give the money from it to Andres so he can further the money to the charity. Now sometimes when I play guitar naked, I scratch myself with the pick, it's an excellent scratcher, which makes it entirely possible that Mike Dirnt himself has scratched himself with this very pick. (Which btw is in great condition and only show *slight* sign of use/ball-scratching)Had to double-check to make sure I cropped my feet out of the picture. That would have been awkward for everyone.feet is disgusting, thanks
Todd Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Man, I'd love that poster. But that's definitely gonna go over $200, and there's no way my parents would let me spend that much, even if it is for charity.

Sarcasm Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Oh, Ola.Do you want to buy it? It's been touched by Mike Dirnt, myself and an above average attractive security guard.
Certified Nimrod Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Great item, great cause. I really wish I had money for this. Had to double-check to make sure I cropped my feet out of the picture. That would have been awkward for everyone. I'd buy your feet, Andres.
Guest Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Do you want to buy it? It's been touched by Mike Dirnt, myself and an above average attractive security guard. Hmm. Maybe if you send it to Andres first and let him touch it too. I want me some of that Fuzz.

Fuzz Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 any chance of uk shippping? I figured I'd keep it in the US, simply because it's much cheaper to ship and we can actually track the package to make sure it's delivered. Unfortunately we can't do international tracking that isn't unreasonably expensive, and don't really wanna risk people spending lots of money and not being able to track it.
Fuzz Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 The poster has just hit $200. I'm totally blown away by the interest in it.
lizziebix Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 The poster has just hit $200. I'm totally blown away by the interest in it.In 40 minutes? Holy cow! That's really really awesome!
Spike Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Wow, can't believe how well this is doing! Wish I could afford it, but whatever, I'm glad it's going for a lot of money since it's for a good cause!
Fuzz Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 That's one expensive poster. It is. But i think people are always willing to pay more than what it costs normally since they know all the money is going somewhere worthwhile. Kinda like "Hey I have a couple hundred bucks I wouldn't mind donating. Might as well get this poster in return"
