ready1 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I have been a great fan of Green Day since I was 10 and I don't think I have missed a day without listening to a GD song ever since. This addiction I have now passed on to my children and I dont know of anyone else that knows GD as much as them. Here is a video of my 3 year old son naming over 50GD songs by listening to the first few seconds of the song. Do your children suffer from this amazing addiction?
Antonium2200 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 (First) Haha, that is adorable! I'm too young to have children though, sorry.
Tubbie Head Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Parenting: You're doing it right! But hello there, welcome to GDC! That's super awesome! When/if I ever have kids I'll be sure to make them GD fans as well.
ready1 Posted November 10, 2013 Author Posted November 10, 2013 I have friends telling me that the first thing their kids want after waking up in the morning is Peppa Pig or Wiggles but my 2 boys wants International Superhits, Bullet in a Bible or Awesome as F**k..... Go GD
Sirens-of-Decay Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 That's so adorable. He was able to name a few songs faster than I could haha!
ready1 Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 People have asked my why my little boy call "Redundant" == "Mummy Scared" When he was 2years old his bed time music was as off course International Superhits (I think all babies listened to that lol). At the end of the Redundant video clip a woman screams because Billie Joe picks up the newspaper, he used to say that woman is scared and that it looked like his mummy... so from that day on the song was called "Mummy Scared".... its so adorable that he corrected himself on the youtube video.. He has baby names for some Green Day songs, as he used to just remember the first words of the song, eg. Desperate == Murder City I've Been == Waiting
