Holy moly!

I love when Mike do this kind of interviews, he's so awesome and the interview was great!

Ritz can you tell me if he only talked about Australia?

There is a write up in the Brisbane times. If you google it - it comes up with a picture of billie at Iheart radio :(

He talks about a few things like Dookie in Serbia, his Woodstock bass. It's a nice little interview.

ooh at one stage there I thought MIke was going admit to coming back for a arena tour when asked about playing Dookie & AI next year.

& just to add to this - its different from the radio interview so he must be doing some other promotional stuff.

Really nice interview, brought a smile to my face! Awesome that he likes playing SWTRLF

i'm not sure if this part was mentioned in the interview, but this was on 'the age' website, and i found it so sweet and i got emotional;

"Dirnt told Fairfax Media what he was going through when Armstrong swore several times and smashed his guitar because, he alleged, the band had been asked to wind up their set.

"Honestly? [i thought] this is f---ing horrible and I don't like watching my friend go down this road . . . and how can I support my friend right now, how can I be there for my friend and get us through this night.

"The path to getting through that night was not only six months in the making but it's going to be the rest of our lives and that is fine with me because it's worth it."

Great interview!

Should tell Finley to do this next time

Awesome interview  I was hoping we'd get some concrete indication of what was going on next year with the whole Dookie/AI thing...although Mike quite strategically dodged that question :P Ah well, we'll find out!

What a great interview! I love the way Mike answers the questions!

Whereever it's from, it got me emotional as well. Really beautiful quote. :shy:

Great interview! He sounds so happy and like he's having so much fun playing the shows at the moment! :) Also that's so awesome that playing Dookie in Serbia was only decided 20 mins before they want onstage!!!

He seemed to suggest the 2 months in Europe was just "testing it all the way". I think they'll be back for more ;)

Are you gonna put this in the downloads?

The last interview we might hear for a while...

That was great!! Thanks for sharing Ritz! :D

It's always nice to get interviews with Mike! And wow they decided to pkay Dookie right before the show in Serbia, that's really cool. I thought it would have been planed beforehand with time to practice a bit and stuff. hahah

Those "goosebumps moments" he talks about are definitely the highlights of the concerts for the crowd as well I think! SWTRLF  Best Trilogy song live up until now! (this will obviously change when they decide to add DRD to the set-list! :ga: )

Great interview thanks Ritz! I got goosebumps watching videos of them live so I can only imagine what it feels like on his end.

This is lovely and I'm so glad that Mike understands that alcoholism is a long road that can last a lifetime. A lot of fans who assume Billie must be fine after six months and whine about the lack of press (amongst other things) could really learn something from that.

was holding out the whole time for him to mention doing sideshows in Australia :(
