Fender/Squire announced today the release of 2 new updated version of Mike Dirnt's signature bass.

The first one is road-worn model being released on Fender. They value at $1500 and have different picks up, new neck choices and the have cracks and such in them to give them the better sound. You can buy the guitar here.

The second is an updated version of his Squire. We aren't sure yet what's so different compared to the original except for the fact they have different pickguards, hopefully we'll get more details soon. You can buy the guitar here.

I don't know if anyone remembers but back in "Rig Rundown" video, Mike's bass tech actually said that one was coming out soon. That was at the start of the tour so obviously this thing has been in the making for a while.

That's a pretty old video, for his original Squier Precision (I've got one :D)

There is a roadworn Fender coming out but I'm not sure about a Squier version, Squier don't usually do roadworn. Anyway, here's a video for the roadworn Fender...

Love the worn out look.

The white one with black pickguard and rosewood fretboard looks awesome. Not really keen on the maple fretboard, but I imagine that'll appeal to some people. I've still got the original Fender on my shopping list, I've never really seen the point in roadworn. It does look pretty cool, but buy a new looking one and give it some hammer yourself :P

I mean the first link bass, that one is for $500 sadly is a mistake

I was just looking at them and the $500 model seems new actually. The pick guard on the white squire is red and not black. Looks like we have 2 new signature models coming out.

I am sorry I got it wrong. That is the new Squier model which is cheaper than actual Fender models.

Yes, I got it wrong. The first one is Squier model. And the second one is Fender!
