i think they are just recording their practices just to see how they sound.

I was just gonna put this up lmao. I'm not saying they are but when I was listening to the music in the background billies voice didn't sound like how it did in 94.

Billie said they're practicing. Practice. :ermm:

Good point. To assume they're re-recording Dookie as a whole is a bit of a jump...but then its twentieth anniversary is coming up...

This ^

It makes no sense to re-record Dookie.

Just posted this in the Reading thread.

They won't be re-recording it, they're not the kind of band to look back. Probably just practising it ready to play it.

maybe not re recording but most likely to be played in england at the next gigs people. maybe the last 2 times they played it live were practice and this one will be real and maybe they'll have a DVD with full dookie live for 2014. just speculations though.

Judging what they were up to earlier this year, I wouldn't hold my breath. I don't see why they would re-record Dookie. Hell they wouldn't tease this much for such an idea, I think.

It's more or less practice and getting the sound right.

EDIT: The first picture says it's practice.

If they're gonna re-record anything, it should be the pre-dookie stuff. Dookie's quality is just fine. :P

Practice sessions. They're recording practice sessions. We may eventually see bits and pieces of those sessions released/leaked, maybe as B-sides or bonus tracks for a Dookie 20th anniversary edition, but I don't see them re-recording the whole album. Why would they?

I would be so pissed off if they re-recorded it...

It would make no fucking sense to re-record an album that many fans consider to be their best one, hardcore fans or not.

I would be happy with good quality live recordings of Dookie to be released! :D

Listen again to Pulling Teeth it's acoustic! Maybe they're releasing Dookie acoustic!

Movies and video games get remade all the time and make tons of money. Albums that are just remastered can even do well on their own. Where exactly is the part where it doesn't make sense to rerecord a Diamond album that everyone loves?
