Authentic Autographs?

Hey guys!

I bought 2 vinyl singles by Green Day some months ago, I bought the grey "Minority" because I didn't have THAT version of the single and I also bought the "Waiting" single - from the same seller - both signed - but I'm not that sure if they're real (at least the "Waiting" one)

For the non-collecting freaks: No, the "Waiting" single is not the limited thumbprint version from Japan

btw: I don't wanna sell them after I got some answers, I just want to know if those can be real or not

Yeah, that's what I think - I forgot to write it in the OP.

It looks like a guy who tried too hard to fake it^^

The last one looks like it's been done slowly, looking at a model and copying it.

Based on what Billie's signature normally looks like the Waiting one looks a bit iffy. It looks like the marker was a bit shaky too which makes it look less legit.

Minority looks a bit better, though. Not 100% sure.

its like he looked up the waiting thumb print one and tried to copy the placement of it to make it more legit, im 99% sure its fake

Even though the Minority one is more legit, I think both are fake.

Before I posted the pics here I was searching for autographs, and like you guys say - the "Minority" could be real, but the "Waiting" seems to be a fake)
But I can't even remove such things, because it's on the cover -> chemicals + paper = bad idea^^
I just hate it when people fake autographs >.<

It's the B on both of them that throw me off.

Other than the B, the first one looks good. but the B and the "Joe" on the second one just don't look like his signature.

dont think people should be allowed to sell signed stuff on ebay Unless its 100% backed up, Photo, Video and COA shud be a MUST !

Well even phots are not legit cus if i say got dookie signed in the pic, i could spend £4 or $6 on a dookie cd and FAKE it and just put the pic up and say its the same one , id rather it be only official outlets that sell that stuff

Absolutely hate it too when people do that. When I was at the AI show in NY waiting outside, I saw a guy with a list and everytime he got an autograph by one of the cast members, he would cross off a name. That made me really mad. But what can you do? Report them to eBay?

When I got my copy of Minority signed, he simply put "Billi", and Mike put an arrow to his face and the word "ME"

Yeah, sorry OP, but most definitely not real. Both fakes. I got this BJA signed pick a couple of years ago. Notice how smooth the "B" is. (He kinda ran out of room on the pick, so the "Joe" is a little small on mine. But, it's just more fluidly signed.

Both are fake.

"J" on Waiting isn't "J" that Billie Joe usually writes.

My rule is: Or it's fake, or it's extremly rare!

Why would that make you mad? Do you get angry when people have jerseys signed by whole baseball teams too?

The point was that he resold it on the internet and made money with it. If you want to collect autographs - good for you. But making shitloads of money with and taking the chance from other people to meet their idols and get autographs (which is what that guy did), yes, that makes me angry.
