Robin105 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 http://www.filmlinc.com/daily/entry/sound-vision-for-the-love-of-music-and-movies On July 29 Broadway Idiot will be screened in NYC. Tickets go on sale next Thursday June 27. I am really excited. I hope I get to go!
scottpilgrim10 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 That's Awesome Can't wait to watch the documentary especially Billie's thoughts on it and acting in a Broadway Musical. I wish I would of seen the musical when it was in Minneapolis.
Makingyourmascarableed Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I have a concert the day the tickets go on sale but I hope I could maybe ask my mom to buy them for me and her and I'll give her the money back. I would really like to see this.
Paola17 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I'm really excited for this. how much do you think the tickets will cost?
R_Z-Log Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Does anyone know if it will go to wide release ever?
jtdscape Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Does anyone know if it will go to wide release ever? They're working on it
gloria123 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 i'm really hoping to get tickets to this!! i'll be in NYC then and sleeping literally 3 blocks away! i wonder how much tickets will be and how many will be on sale... (maybe an Idiot Club contest...?)
AmyHectic Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Sometimes living on Long Island isn't such a bad thing... well NYC here I come once again
belinda jane Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 god dammit. i'm still waiting for the damn musical to make it's way here
Peyton Sawyer Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Why do I live on France and can't even afford the plane ticket??!!!!
tdlyon Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Thinking I'm gonna go to this even though I live four hours away, depending on what the tickets cost. Since the European tour will be over by the time this happens, do you think the band will show up at the premiere? That would be crazy.
jtdscape Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 how can I know if it's playing in my area? We'll announce it on GDA

And they've been at the other screenings too, right? i hope tickets wont be that expensive either
GDM Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I called the box office and they said they should be $13.00 for the general public. Let's hope the BO guy is right, lol. Wait, on what site does one by tickets? http://www.filmlinc.com/pages/tickets "Ticketing for the selected show starts on Thursday 6/27/2013 12:00 AM" http://www.filmlinc.com/daily/entry/sound-vision-for-the-love-of-music-and-movies

Paola17 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Anyone able to buy tix? It still says No Sale for me Yeah, same. Makes no sense
Heather. Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I got it! I got 2 tickets. But uh... the confirmation email says "Please be prepared to show your Film Society Membership card".... ???? You don't need to be a member to go right? Because I mean, I got the tickets... I hope "or other valid identification" means it's OK that I'm just a regular person with a driver's license SO PUMPED!

Congrats! If it was earlier in the day, I would have attempted tickets.
Heather. Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Congrats! If it was earlier in the day, I would have attempted tickets. Understandable. I happen to be doing nothing this July and this will be my final treat before starting work again in August. I'll be sure to offer full details. I'm personally excited because this is sure to feature a ton of footage from when AI was being workshopped at Vassar which is where I went to school, so a lot of this footage of them watching the cast perform songs for the first time takes place in my college dorm I'm really jazzed that tickets were only $13. This is going to be the most bang for my buck Green Day has ever given me... I usually spend a lot of money on them for both important and stupid reasons, and this is promising to be one of the most meaningful things to me, and for just $13!! Also holding out minor hope that some important people will show up.... could be Green Day on their way back from Europe... could be Broadway actors... either way... Yeah, same. Makes no sense Did you get it to work?
Paola17 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Did you get it to work? Yeah, I did I was able to get two tickets as well. So pumped.
