Keloooe Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Hey guys, I was hoping to find the sheet music for the strings formation in Good Riddance (Time of your Life), yet I can't find any?!?!?! Does anyone know of a source I could use??? Cheers, Keloooe
Jimmy Strummer Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Welcome to the forum!! As far as I know, there isn't any sheet music for the string arrangement available anywhere, but if you have a Mac with GarageBand, you can easily search Google and find a MIDI file of the song, import it into GarageBand, and delete all the tracks that don't have to do with the strings, like the guitar and the vocals (which usually shows up in GB as a flute). This way, you have audio of just the strings AND you can read the digital notes that are written onto the GarageBand track and that'll kinda serve as sheet music. I wish I could be of more help, but you're asking for something that's incredibly hard to find. Sorry. :\
green day is Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 ^ You can do that with any DAW, not just Garage Band.
Sanity Loan Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I don't have the sheet music but here is just the strings from the actual recording of the song: http://www.mediafire.com/?gg05vd7vtiu9qrd
