X-KidRoach Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 At the bridge (generally where 100000 "hey-oh"'s occur, Jason is playing the normal guitar that we have heard for over a year now but Billie joe is now doing some harmonizing with him in which once it goes lower and then the other time it goes higher. He does this before hey-oh-ing. A prime example is in Rochester. Anybody have any ideas on what the tab is?
PanicAttack! Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Definitely not the right forum to ask this, and you could've provided a youtube link at least. But I'll try to check it out, I really dig that bridge.
iScottie Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I still wish somebody would tell me the tab for the live solo Billie Joe does during Good Riddance
BullwinkleCheech Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I still wish somebody would tell me the tab for the live solo Billie Joe does during Good Riddance Just strum along to a G-chord and fiddle around with the g and d notes on the high e and b strings. Not that hard
Sarcasm Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Definitely not the right forum to ask thisReport button is your friend. But still, I don't see the problem, it's definitely Green Day related, and I'm sure others who play guitar would want to know how the band plays the songs live and what the differences are from the studio versions of the songs.
Jude O'Reilly Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I'm down for some live tabs if anyone wants to post some
LudeBoy Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Just strum along to a G-chord and fiddle around with the g and d notes on the high e and b strings. Not that hard oh yeah? lol no.

BullwinkleCheech Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 oh yeah? lol no. I don't know what solo he's referring to in particular but come on guys. Anything that has to do with Good Riddance is just plain stupid G, C and D. Anybody could figure that out.

I got the tabs book, this where I got the stuff Yeah I've seen it in the tab book but the first section does not happen until the lyrics kick in so it's not that :/ it may be a form of that but with different notes but in the same patternhttp://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=R8MVUu4iunY&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DR8MVUu4iunY there is the link. The part is around 3:30. Perhaps Jason is not playing the part? It's very difficult to tell but it clearly is not anything from the studio version and I find it much better and would like to be able to play it. Thanks to everyone for trying to help!

I've seen mods lock up topics with more relevancy, just trying to conform.

If it was something else like a list thread or if it was totally moronic, I'd lock it. Don't worry, I got this.

Ok, it's the first time that I hear that, so it's just Billie Joe doing solo with the pentatonic in Bm, I can't tab it because I don't have the skills the hear and write, but I think is the penta in Bm.
