FoxboroBoy93 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 (If this post already exists, let me know, or transfer this to the right area, i just couldnt find one about it) I just recently bought this DVD from Best Buy: I want to know if anyone else has seen it, and what they think! I didn't find it too bad to be honest, I mean granted, it's no Cuatro, but it's pretty cool! I really enjoyed the interviews more than anything! Let me know your thoughts!
JIGD13 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I posted that it was going to be released but I have not seen it yet. Could you upload it to YouTube please
70 Times 7 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I will kill your first born child if you do not give me that movie, or $666 million.
iScottie Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Thanks for the info, but these unauthorized documentaries are not my forte. I will kill your first born child if you do not give me that movie, or $666 million. What a great way to make friends.
MaraGreenDay Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I want it, but i want to know if it´s pogo paradise again?
Jude O'Reilly Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I didn't even know this existed is it professionally made?
JIGD13 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I didn't even know this existed is it professionally made? Yes
Heather. Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Were there any Green Day interviews we haven't seen before? I don't think this is Pogo Paradise because it's not supposed to feature all those random people talking...
Forever Now Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Saw this being sold at a local music shop! definitely buying next time!
FoxboroBoy93 Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 Ok so here's like a mini-update with your questions lol NO it's not pogo paradise lol It's a 2 disc set, first disc is just some interviews from the Insomniac and Warning era up to the UNO era, but nothing new really All together, i'd say its about 3 hours-ish I'll be sure to post on here when I upload it, so no worries there, no need to kill my children...Saw this being sold at a local music shop! definitely buying next time! Is that FYE?
J&TheNight Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 FYE is still in business? And yes please upload XD Yea man, FYE is a big thing here! I definitely want to see this.
Heather. Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I grew up going to FYE all the time but they all went out of business or nearly so around me And if they're still there, they hardly carry music anymore.
PanicAttack! Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Yes, I'm joining in on the plea to upload it to youtube or share it as a download. I'm not imagining this will be easy to get a hold of for me, but if there is any rare/unseen material on there or if it is just a really well done interview compilation, then I really want to watch. It'll be 3 hours of good entertainment. Also, I don't even think I've seen Pogo Paradise, but I've heard of it, is that one any good?
Laura! Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 FYE closed here years ago. I miss that store! Is this worth the $15? I bought Suburbia Bomb years ago and was disappointed it wasn't anything new.
MaraGreenDay Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Actually Suburbia bomb is pogo paradise, i have it with that name and i really like it
FoxboroBoy93 Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 No nothing on it is new, its just interviews and such that I know we've seen, and the 2nd disc is really interesting, in the fact that it talks about Green Day's history a little, but then only really delves into the Insomniac to Warning era. The "title card" for the start of disc 2 even says "Green Day Middle Years 1995 - 2000" but there's also special features that talk about more recent stuff, and an "ultimate" Green Day quiz. I say get it, it's not that expensive, and it's pretty cool to have all at your disposal
FoxboroBoy93 Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013 One thing that pissed me off was on the quiz, one of the questions is "Which album did Tre first play on?" so I said Kerplunk! and they say I'm wrong, and that it's Dookie... >.> Other than that, all the other answers seem right, you can check them after the quiz lol
70 Times 7 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 What a great way to make friends. Thanks bro, I try Ok so here's like a mini-update with your questions lol NO it's not pogo paradise lol It's a 2 disc set, first disc is just some interviews from the Insomniac and Warning era up to the UNO era, but nothing new really All together, i'd say its about 3 hours-ish I'll be sure to post on here when I upload it, so no worries there, no need to kill my children... Oh good, i didnt want them dead, then I would have to... Hide the bodies and shit, thats a lot of work bro. Anyway, thanks, cant wait to see it
Tubbie Head Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I don't get the title. Saw this being sold at a local music shop! definitely buying next time! I like that "TOP SELLING ARTIST OF ALL TIME" sign above Dos! I'm not buying this... I already have one of those unofficial DVDs, I'd say it's good to have as a collectible. Don't think I'll watch it ever again. One thing that pissed me off was on the quiz, one of the questions is "Which album did Tre first play on?" so I said Kerplunk! and they say I'm wrong, and that it's Dookie... >.> Other than that, all the other answers seem right, you can check them after the quiz lol I'm glad I was not the only one who thought Dookie was the first album Tré played in! hahah I now know Kerplunk was the first but for a long time I thought it wasn't.
