Jaymee!! Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 GDA has decided to start issuing a replica of Billie Joe's well-known 'stupid' shirt, and we want you to design it! Designing this shirt is as simple as they come. To keep it as DIY feel as it can get, we're asking you to write out 'stupid' for us! This is a great opportunity for any fan. Not only to help contribute to a great piece of merchandise, but the fan chosen will also have bragging rights to say that that's their unique writing on every single shirt. As if that wasn't exciting enough, the chosen writer will also receive a shirt for free as an extra thank you. Submitting your 'stupid' is also as easy as they come. All you have to do is write it out on a piece of blank paper, take a high quality picture, and post it here in the thread. Please keep in mind that it is one entry per person. After a 2 week period, the thread will close and the Mod Team will then decide which handwriting to go with. The winner will be notified via PM and announced on GDC. Do not hesitate to ask any questions, as the Mod Team will certainly be more than happy to help. Happy writing, and good luck!
JIGD13 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I love that t-shirt if someone designs it I will definitely buy one

ThibautDookie Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I'm really excited for this ! I'm trying to do one right now haha !
Sarcasm Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Is it one entry per person?Yes I believe so. If everyone submits more than one, there would be a way to big pile to choose from, also it would be kind of unfair if someone entered 40 different ones.
Agija Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Yes I believe so. If everyone submits more than one, there would be a way to big pile to choose from, also it would be kind of unfair if someone entered 40 different ones. Oh okay, thanks.
The Grohl Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Since we're actually writing it out, I'll give this a go! Usually the design contests feature graphic design, which is not my area at all
The Grohl Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I would love to buy one of these shirts! can't wait!
Pixus Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 This sounds cool. Can we use different colors and decorate it? It'll be handwritten, ,of course.
Todd Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Finally! GDA actually makes a shirt that I really want! This is great! stupid! Billie Joe: Scans his shirt and submits the actual writing, doesn't win Random dude: Makes a crude attempt, wins
Kill_the_Kia Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 handwritten? Oh this contest isn't for me! but nice idea
Jaymee!! Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 This sounds cool. Can we use different colors and decorate it? It'll be handwritten, ,of course. We want to replicate the original shirt, so I'd suggest to keep it as simple as possibleCan i submit 4 handwritting ? No, it is 1 entry per person
Tubbie Head Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 sounds like the type of shirt I would want to have. Can I write it digitally? I have a digital tablet.
Mary711 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Can I write it digitally? I have a digital tablet. But that wouldn't be the same.
Sarahnade Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 This is a great idea. I've considered trying to make one of these for awhile now. It'd be nice to just order one.
Tubbie Head Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 But that wouldn't be the same. Yeah, you're probably right.
Pixus Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 We want to replicate the original shirt, so I'd suggest to keep it as simple as possible No, it is 1 entry per person Okay, thank you.
