Charlie Boston Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Does anyone know how many copies the Trilogy has sold so far?
Amanda Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I heard they made enough money out of it for Billie to buy a tall latte in Starbucks.
Duhhan1023 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 UNO Austria Gold 10,000x Germany Gold 100,000 Japan Gold 100,000 Poland Gold 10,000 United Kingdom Gold 100,000 Italy Gold 30,000 Hungary Platinum 6,000x USA : 288 000 DOS: 148 000 in USA TRE: 110 000 in USA According to wikipedia so I don't know if it's true or not
LazyPhil Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 This is still open? I think this should be in Q&A. Anyways I heard it sold roughly over 300,000 copies worldwide I'm not sure though.
Mykee Mexx Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I heard they made enough money out of it for Billie to buy a tall latte in Starbucks. Well, well... I heard they made enough money to buy Starbucks... probably another misunderstanding...
HolyHandGrenade Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Does anyone else feel like Tre is going to far outsell Dos by 2014? UNO had its shot with early promotion, and Tre now has the entirety of the tour to be promoted to the masses by the band, but Dos got the short end of the stick in being released to no promo during Billie's rehab. There's also the fact that Tre sounds much more appealing to a mainstream crowd.
Kerplunk!!! Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I feel that this should be on Green Day Q&A Thread To bad no one cares how you feel, as a Green Day fan I couldn't care less about album sales, as Warning shows, qaulity doesn't always sell! I do wonder though would an album with just the best best of the tracks from the trio of sold better than the trio put together...?

I do wonder though would an album with just the best best of the tracks from the trio of sold better than the trio put together...? I care. I had that exact thought when I first saw this thread - there is a fine line between questions that can be answered sufficiently in the Q&A thread and ones that warrant their own thread.
Clayish Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Wouldn't be surprised if the sales were very low. Terrible promotion and Oh Love really hurt there chance of making a mainstream comeback.
