Akshat Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Green Day, Foals and Muse have all been included in Zane Lowe’s list of his 100 Hottest Tracks Of 2012 – but they were beaten to the top spot by Swedish House Mafia member Sebastian Ingrosso. Steven Seagull Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Why kill the DJ? There were many tracks from their new albums that were better than Kill the DJ
San Miguel Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It's good news I guess - i know there was a fan vote option so everyone who voted did well (i didn't ) i think Kill the DJ was the only Green Day song Radio 1 nominated for the vote so i'm sure if Stay the Night was made a single and included there it would've won
Firecracker Lell Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Only Kill the DJ & Madness are good songs! Others, meh!
Guest Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I like Zane Lowe because he loves Biffy Clyro. But yeah, that list is fucking awful. And this news is a couple of weeks old.
JIGD13 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 They picked Kill The Dj because it was an UK single and spot 2 is not that bad
Crimpshrine Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Why Kill The DJ ?more succes Oh Love have
FatVince Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Why Kill The DJ ?more succes Oh Love have Perso, I think Kill the DJ is a better song than Oh Love. The lyrics are a little weak but the guitar & the bass lines are good. I needed to step back to realize it.
solongfromthestars Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Considering some of the shit on that list, #2 is really good. That's great news
spark in the night Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 well Kill the DJ is hot. Not sure about those other songs though
Silent Duck Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Says a lot about the people who listen to Zane Lowe's radio show if that's their top 10 songs of the year.
Cath Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I would have put Stay The Night instead of Kill The DJ. Seems quite a shitty list though
No_Motivation Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It's kill the DJ 'cos every night, Zane plays a new 'hottest record in the world,' and it was chosen during the show where he did a phone interview with Billie. This list was made up solely of every hottest record this year.
ANJI Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I like Kill The DJ and No 2 isnt bad, but they could have chosen better songs.
Platypus2000 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 "Arguing with thermometers" and "Kill the DJ" are the only songs that are worth listening to on that list..
Eva Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It doesn't seem like a very good list. Out of three albums the best Green Day song was Kill the DJ? I don't think so. It's catchy and I like it a lot but there are a ton of other, better songs. In my opinion, of course.
Amanda Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Shit list. Shit show.Shit list, shit show, coincidence? I dunno.
Amanda Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 But I like Zane. I like Plan B and Eminem, but please don't tell anyone.
mechanicalman Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Being a fan of Slim is nothing to be ashamed of.
