Ana. Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Would love if someone of those that have the album could scan the booklet
Ritz Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Nuclear Family for Uno, Makeout Party and Stray Heart for Dos and Dirty Rotten Bastards for Trè! Stay The Night. Lazy Bones. Nightlife. There are many more man!
HeinekenFuckThatShit Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 This is what I've been waiting for! The best of the trilogy! Listening to it in full for the second time after playing DRB about 6 times straight. There's no other band I'd pull an all-nighter for just to hear their new music ASAP. Top 5 songs (and damn this is hard): 1. Dirty Rotten Bastards 2. X-Kid 3. Brutal Love 4. Amanda 5. 99 Revolutions
Comic Sans Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Would love if someone of those that have the album could scan the booklet Someone actually did. Check page 9 (if I'm not wrong it's there)
Ana. Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Someone actually did. Check page 9 (if I'm not wrong it's there) Oh great, I didn't know, thank you
Comic Sans Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Stay The Night. Lazy Bones. Nightlife. There are many more man! Oh, yes Nightlife! I forgot that! I'm not a bass player so I don't exactly know all Mike's basslines, but those were the songs I remembered also for his basslines.
Hermione Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Dirty Rotten Bastards is the best, not one of the bests, it is the best. FUCK! The bass solo. OMG I'll die, that's better than MAKE OUT PARTY and holy fuck the guitar solo. Eargasm. I enjoyed your song by song account of your first listen! Even more excited to hear it now. Things are sounding intriguing and good from this thread. Looking forward to it
Comic Sans Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 OH HANG ON X-KID HAS JUST STARTED I HAVE A NEW FAVE. YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVEN'T LISTENED TO DIRTY ROTTEN BASTARDS.
Rusty Hart Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Hard to pick favorite from Tre... all songs is solid... and there's no 'meh song for me
Breakdown_EE Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Now that i have listened to Tré 6 times i finished my Uno Dos Tre "Review" I manly made it for myself but maybee some is interested... or not i don't care The combined Song rating is what you get when you exacte cobine all Song ratings (thank you captain obvious) and the 2nd overall Album rating is just my personal feeling about the album no calculating at all
Sarcasm Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Lyrics? anyone? There is no thread yet If it's not too premature I'm posting the OP for the lyrics thread today, I'm gonna hear with the rest of the squad first
Comic Sans Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Oh great, I didn't know, thank you You're welcome
basKT_case90 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 FUN FACT: Dirty Rotten Bastards doesn't have the lyrics "dirty rotten bastards" in this final version. in fact, the verse containing the line is now removed. see the handwritten lyrics from Quatro! to read the original lyrics
sampy Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Lyrics for 99 Revolutions: 99 Revolutions tonight x99 ..lol just kidding, I love that song!
Red Lights Flash Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Just listened to it all. It's a fine addition to Green Day's catalogue, but I'm not a fan of it as an album on its own. It has a lot of average songs, a few really good ones.
Ritz Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I enjoyed your song by song account of your first listen! Even more excited to hear it now. Things are sounding intriguing and good from this thread. Looking forward to it Oh you have no idea how good it is until you listen to it
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Downloading (in case of idiotic boxset screw up version 3.0)...but will try to resist...should i bother? It's streaming anyway...help!!
HumanPate86 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Hmm. My least favorite of the trilogy. Not cause it's pop-rock but it just feels uninspired and unfinished at some points. Billie need to concentrate on writing better choruses. Little boy named train has a very good "riff" and chord progression but ends up boring
DTH Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 ok, best guitar solo of the trilogy: dirty rotten bastards. best bass solo of the trilogy: dirty rotten bastards. oh man its close to kick ashley of the top spot for best song...
