Definitely true. I almost felt bad for Kanye playing to a crowd of exclusively middle-aged white people there to see classic rock artists

Yeah, considering Green Day came up in the time when MTV was still in it's heyday, I imagine it's extra depressing from their perspective. Hell, it's even depressing for me to see what it's become from what it was, and I'm just a passive observer.
