The Grohl Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I don't even know how to react to this. I'm just sick of disussion of his treatment. Whatever happens, happens. Hopefully he gets all the help he needs.
Guest MadeInRatCity Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 and there's all those comments on instagram.

The Grohl Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 and there's all those comments on instagram. Comments on instantagram? Saying what? Sorry, I don't follow instantagram.
GuitarPunk94 Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 better rest and find help for a longer time instead of not taking this serious enough..
~ Walking Contradiction Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I'm so sorry to hear this hope that Billie gets better soon
BornToLose Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 very vague interview. IMO they're playing it safe with the words still. can't see them canceling a tour.
iScottie Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 The important thing is that he gets better. If they have to cancel more tour dates, and those happen to fall in January, I will be very disappointed, but I'll be very understanding.
tvrman Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I wonder if RC is making this statement as an official way of getting updates to the fans, just a suggestion ? He implies that GD are hopefully, though not certainly, trying to target the US tour for Billie's comeback - but at the same time ensuring fans are not under estimating Billie's situation.
Todd Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Everyone on instagram just bitches about everything. If you don't want to get pissed off by the thoughtless, cold, impulsive crap that people fling at Billie, stay away from instagram.
The Grohl Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 very vague interview. IMO they're playing it safe with the words still. can't see them canceling a tour. I'm with you. I say we wait and see what happens.
teresa1988 Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Doesn't sound so good. Just hope he is getting better no matter how long it takes him.
inthehallwaynow Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 its weird reading the article and then seeing him post pics on instagram cause in one way we're like Yay hes getting better it shouldn't be long now cause hes posting stuff again..and then you have an article like this which makes it seem like hes still not doing that great.. i've got mixed emotions haha
1039SweetChildren Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 All we can do is send him our best wishes and hope for the best. At least he's doing what he has to do.
Jaymee!! Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I'm glad this was posted. Yes it's vague but it's a good way of finally hearing some news and letting the fans know that the possibility of the first part of the tour being canceled is more realistic than some had hoped. Still hope it doesn't come to that...it's weird, to want more than anything for Billie to be well and healthy, but not feel selfish in wanting the tour to go on as normal and not want any more canceled events.
spark in the night Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Well after reading this I really feel like they're gonna cancel dates for the rest of 2012.
greendaygal89 Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I don't even know how to react to this. I'm just sick of disussion of his treatment. Whatever happens, happens. Hopefully he gets all the help he needs. This he has lots if people around him to help him. All these annoying "fans" bitching etc need to stop
Hermione Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I think he's just trying to set straight the idiots who think it's not to be taken seriously or it's a publicity stunt etc. I don't think what he's said is bad, he's just saying Billie's got a problem and he's getting help and no one knows how long it'll take. That's a given anyway, he's just making it clear.
Schlappy Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 hmm "to get him clean" sounds like drugs rather than just alcohol... *gets ninja kicked in the face for making assumptions* ahh i'm sorry i'm sorry
gerardsangel4977 Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 very vague interview. IMO they're playing it safe with the words still. can't see them canceling a tour. Yeah, they're definitely not going to cancel the whole thing in one fell swoop. I think they're probably going to take it a week at a time....cancelling small chunks along the way, as needed, til they get the okay. This actually makes me feel even worse for Billie and the rest of the band. His health is the most important thing, obviously, but I'm sure it's killing him having to cancel all this stuff.
LittleBoyNamedTrain Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Well after reading this I really feel like they're gonna cancel dates for the rest of 2012. Same here. But if it's what he needs, so be it.
tresrocknrollgf Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 do you think that if some tour dates were canceled, then the rest of the leg would be as well? like if they canceled november shows, then would they automatically disregard the january shows? how disappointing though, because from everything else that we've been hearing, which isn't much, it makes it sounds like billie was doing alright. hopefully he gets better soon
Bastard of 1967 Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 hmm "to get him clean" sounds like drugs rather than just alcohol... *gets ninja kicked in the face for making assumptions* ahh i'm sorry i'm sorry Could be either or both. Whatever, it doesn't matter. All that matters is he doesn't end up like Amy Winehouse.
