Cob Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I've found myself looking forward to specific songs on each of the new albums based on the bootlegs from the secret shows, so I'm curious to see what others are looking forward to. From Uno I was really looking forward to "Carpe Diem" (and boy did it pay off!) and "Stay the Night". From Dos I absolutely cannot wait for "Fuck Time", and from Tre I can't wait for "Amanda", "8th Avenue Serenade", and a full studio version of "99 Revolutions". What are you guys looking forward to the most?
Homero Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I have to agree with you on "Fuck Time", man, I can't wait to overplay that song. Also, I want to hear See You Tonight...
spacesauce Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Fuck Time and Amy from Dos. I think since less is known about Tre I have a higher anticipation for more of the songs. Brutal Love, X-Kid, Little Boy Named Train, Dirty Rotten Bastards, and The Forgotten.
abattlecry Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I'm dying to hear The Forgotten, as well as 99 Revolutions. And Fuck Time is going to be great, I can't wait to get it to the top of my iTunes top 25 Also, 400th post! :bunny:
green day is Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 AMY There are already threads to discuss this, though.
stan the harmonica man Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Mainly, Lady Cobra off of Dos and Little Boy Named Train off of Tre.
Cob Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 AMY There are already threads to discuss this, though. I tried looking for one but to no avail :/
StuckWithInsomnia Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I wanna hear Dirty Rotten Bastards, for iUno! i wanted to hear Nuclear Family and Stay the night also
ThisMoonlife Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Amy studio version for sure. I am excited to hear Tre in it's entirety though since it seems like it will the most ecclectic and diverse of the three albums. So far, the four songs I've heard (or heard snippets of) give Tre the potential to be the strongest new album (by far). I was never too into the garage rock sound of foxboro, so Dos seems the weakest to me although Lazy Bones, Amy, Stray Heart, Wild One and Lady Cobra are all really good. Hopefully the few tracks we haven't heard have more of a Stray Heart feel to them. I am thoroughly enjoying Uno though. I would say 8/12 songs are solid with the rest being tolerable (but not bad by any means). Anything seems like a breath of fresh air after 21st Century Breakdown. As much as I enjoy it I think it's their weakest effort to date.
Dalya Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 All the songs from TRE All the songs from DOS that I didn't hear yet
Soroush Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 "The Forgotten" and "Brutal Love" from Tre "Lazy Bones" and "Stop When The Red Lights Flash" from Dos
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 From Dos: Wild One, Nightlife, See You Tonight, Makeout Party, Baby Eyes (because I know nothing about it).... everything else.... From Tré: Brutal Love, The Forgotten, Missing You, Dirty Rotten Bastards, Amanda (because that's my name!), Walk Away (because it's presumable an old leftover).... everything else.... To sum up: I'm excited for everything.
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Uno barely felt like a new release by the time I actually listened to it, the next two will hopefully do something new. I can't wait to hear the full Lazy Bones from Dos and to finally have a studio version of Fuck Time which will be great fun to play on guitar. From Tre I love 99 Revolutions and 8th Ave. Serenade but don't know any of the other stuff, I'm hoping Drama Queen's been dropped altogether.
Asa. Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Drama Queen for sure, X Kid, Brutal Love, and See You Tonight.
iRun Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Stop when the red lights flash, lazy bones, Amy, Amanda, 8th avenue serenade, dirty rotten bastards.
iRun Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 X-kid, little boy named train, the forgotten. Pretty much everything on tré

Requila Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Fuck Time, Lazy Bones and Amy. Dirty Rotten Bastards and X-kid.
