Green Day on Twilight soundtrack

False performance? the guy is dealing with alcohol problems. we should not be dissappointed in him. it's just sad that he has problems.. im proud of him 'cause he's getting help.

I totally agree, it was just a simple and pure observation of true facts. In comparison to releasing The Forgotten song in Twilight saga, which is nothing. You just can´t know how depressing is it for me or maybe I´m sure you are. I may sound rude but maybe sometimes we only need someone to kick our ass, all in all it was his choice he let it go too far. But yeah, I´m proud of his decision to treat, I only hope he´s serious. Thanks for quoting, really appreciate.

Watched this video about a million times now, I bloody love it. And listening to the song on it's own is even more emotional. And this part of the video really made me cry!

It's like his happy normal self is looking at his burnt out self with sadness :(

I found that to be a really powerful image too, so I made in my picture thing :D

I really like the solo in this song, kinda sounds like knockin' on heaven's door solo (Gn'R version) but cleaner.

I can't wait to get ¡Tré! in the mail next month. I want to listen to the Forgotten together with the rest of the album first. That way I won't get reminded of a certain Twilight scene the whole time (like what happened with the muse song in Twilight) I might watch the movie after that too just to see what's it's like..

Wasn't this single supposed to be released today? What's the deal?

Whatever the deal is , it sucks

Dafinately the deal. The song is fantastic with a lot of potential. It should never be taken for granted but I can't figure out what's going on about these singles.

Have any of you seen this?

(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! )

 That was pretty funny. I'm sure a lot of fans felt that way. I just didn't care :P

I certainly did, until I heard the song, and was so utterly mesmerised by its beauty.

That was very similar to my initial reaction, to be honest. Then I realized I didn't really care.

They released the album and the song in't available to buy alone! WTF!!!!!

I'm still pissed over that. I was really looking forward to buying the song tonight and finally having a good quality version of it instead of an mp3 ripped from YouTube, but no, they want me to pay for the whole album. I'm not paying $11.99 for one song that I'll have in less than a month.

What I don't get is, wasn't it supposed to be released as a single? If so, then it should be available to buy separately from the rest of that shitty soundtrack.

I find it weird that the only song you can currently buy separately from the album is the Christina Perri song

Looks like another missed chance by the Green Day marketing department. Unless, of course, they have no control over it and this is how the Twillight marketing plans on promoting the movie.

It's just weird to have a video but no single. People aren't going to wait forever for the single to appear so I kind of start to doubt it is going to happen..

Putting a song on a Twilight soundtrack didn't really seem like a Green Day move, but so what? The song really is beautiful, and I don't really care that it's released as part of a crappy movie about shirtless sparkly vampires. The sooner the better.

I hope this whole single stuff gets itself worked out soon. I can't wait until other people can hear it's beauty

The Twilight sndtrk is put out thru shop stop or whatever it's their call to release a single or not

Now Reprise in a few weeks when they release a single for ¡Tre! could make Forgotten the single for ¡Tre!

Compilation releases are such a pain in the arse. Arctic Monkeys had a song on a Radio 1 Live Lounge compilation that came out a couple of weeks ago that I couldn't buy separately from the rest of the album which was otherwise made up entirely of shite pop artists. The band certainly don't have any control over how compilations are marketed I wouldn't have thought. I'm just going to download the soundtrack anyway.

It's the first song that plays over the main credits at the end, not played in the film though

This song is just in the credits!? As everyone is leaving? I thought it was the LEAD track?

Super lame.

Yes, that´s what I thought, too, that it was the lead track. Well, I´m not interested in the movie anyway, so I wait for Tré.

everybody is thinking they will like tre the most of the trilogy.

but i'm not really looking forward to it. i mean we heard the forgotten, which is even cheezier than 21guns. then we heard some part of x-kid. if it wasn't for billies voice that could be a nickleback track...

then there is the fact it will have at least 4 ballads of 12 songs. thats way to much for me. 99 revolutions is like uno pretty average, uninspired, heard thousand times before (but everyhing we heard before was better). probably they even think its the punk song of the album, but its so slow and powerless...

ok still some tracks to come, but my first feeling is pretty bad. i think it could be a worse 21stCBD...

but if that will be the case i'm just gonna pretend they put only iDOS! out this year.... and the few good songs on uno and tre are bonus tracks/b-sides.
