localinsomniac Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I always loved the solo in Paper Lanterns.
djrossstar Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Dry Ice. In 2000, the day before their amazing free show at Axis in Boston, I asked BJA at the Newberry Comics signing if they would play any song at the show. He told me ANYTHING I wanted to hear. I responded with 'Dry Ice' and BJA replied with 'ANYTHING BUT Dry Ice!'.

Guest Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 rusty james or only of you Troublemaker! Rusty James is just a follow-the-melody solo, nothing particularly interesting about it. Troublemaker, while different, is just a bit boring. Stay The Night, live version The version at Reading is one of the most epic solos I've ever heard from any band, never mind Green Day.
w00t932 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I think my favourite bass solo would be Stuart And The Ave. , my all time favourite Green Day song. My favourite drum solo has to be burnout.
djrossstar Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I was LocalInsomniac! I sang Blitzkreig Bop on stage the following night at Axis! BJA called our fake band The F**kheads!
