Makingyourmascarableed Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Hi so today, October 3rd, is the 12th anniversary of Green Day's Warning. Personally, it's one of my all time favorite Green Day albums and it was around when this album came out that I did get into Green Day (Best decision on my part). My favorite songs from the album are "Church on Sunday", "Waiting", "Blood, Sex, and Booze" and "Misery" However, I just love the album in it's entirety anyways I sometimes feel that Warning is unappreciated at times because it wasn't a high success like the others but it's still such an amazing album to listen to and everything. What do you guys think about Warning? Favorite song or songs? Do you wish they'd play more of these songs at performances?
ThibautDookie Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy Birthday Warning ! I'm still waiting for a live performance of "Deadbeat Holiday"
Vic_Rattlehead Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I love Minority of course, and I wish they'd play Castaway, Fashion Victim and even Misery live, it would be fantabulous. Happy Birthday!
Nikkilite Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 My favs are "Blood sex and booze" and "Waiting" Love Warning!! HAPPY BITHDAY!
Andre Bruxo Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Warning is so underrated! I remember that was the album that really got me into Green Day, I would play it over and over on my walkman back in 2000. Good times My favorite songs would probably have to be Blood Sex and Booze, Church on Sunday, Fashion Victim, Castaway, Deadbeat Holiday, Waiting, Minority and Macy´s Day Parade. They´re all great tunes! Happy B-Day Warning!
~ Walking Contradiction Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy birthday! They should play more songs off this album...I love Church on Sunday, Hold on and Deadbeat holiday
Alex R. Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy Birthday Warning ! Such an amazing album. I have two favorite songs: Castaway and Minority ! Seriously, they should play Castaway in live !
porksoda Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 The first Green Day album I listened to in full. Happy Birthday!
Pieces of Truth Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 ugh. You remind me of the fact that I need to re-buy my warning copy cause I accidentally broke it. Damn. Still need to give it a proper listen, though
desecrator09 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I think this will definitely be GD's overlooked or "forgotten" album.
alaniluau Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy birthday Warning, you beautiful lovechild you.
gmcloughlin Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy Birthday Warning My original copy has alot of sentimental value cos my late grandmother bought it for me Such an underrated album imo.
SmidtsPie° Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy birthday Warning! Really great album. I think my favorite songs is Blood Sex and Booze, Fashion Victim, Castaway and Minority of course. But they're all super good. I've to go listen to it now
TheGreenDayKidd Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy birthday!! (oh gosh how did I forget about it. )
Nemo. Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 happy birthday warning. oh how i love this album... my favorite songs are waiting and misery
solongfromthestars Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Definitely one of my top 3 Green Day albums! Great record, happy birthday Warning.
Zelda Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy birthday Warning! The boys are ijits for not playing of this album. So many great songs on there, and we never get to hear them live.
The Grohl Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I remember when I first got into Green Day I didn't like Warning at all. It wasn't what I was used to by them. But when I got older and actually gave it another chance I found that it was really good. It's not one of my faves but it's pretty awesome. It's like Green Day's we're a bit more mature record. What made me fall in love with it were "warning" and "Blood Sex and Booze." I guess I like because the songs are a bit darker and it showcases an interesting and diffcult time for the band.
.Holly Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Castaway, Minority, Church on Sunday and Macy's Day parade. Minority has to be at least in my top 10, if not top 5 all time Green Day songs. I hope they never stop playing it live!
Malleus Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Warning is an awesome record, definitely the most underrated Green Day record. My favourite songs are Waiting, Macy's Day Parade and Church on Sunday. Waiting is probably an extremely close 2nd or tied for personal favourite Green Day song, so I am huge fan of it. Gonna give ol' Warning a listen.
Mandy_PunkRock Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Happy Birthday Warning! I have so much love for that album!
