Radio material?

Has anyone heard any of the new album on the radio? I think I heard Oh Love once in a store, but that was before the album came out. And let's face it, not many people even like that song. But I just don't see a standout radio song here, unlike on the other two albums.

Well so far I've heard both Oh Love and Let Yourself Go as singles here in Tucson.

They always play Kill The DJ and Oh Love here, and they also played the whole album front to back when it got released.

Here in Germany, I've heard Oh Love, Let yourself go and Kill the DJ on the radio. but as I do not often listen to the radio, I don't really have an overview on what gets played and what doesn't.

I just the playlist for one station that SHOULD be playing Green Day and the only song in the last 24 hours they played was BOBD. That said, every first song listing of the hour had an ad for Uno.

I've yet to hear anything off Uno on the radio, although I did hear BOBD quite recently, oddly enough.

Even over here in Ireland I heard loads of songs off 21st CB. Know Your Enemy, 21 Guns, 21st Century Breakdown, and even East Jesus Nowhere, which was the first song I heard off the album, which was really weird because I don't think it was released as a single for a couple of months after the album came out, if it was a single at all.

Uno I could believe, but 21st Century Breakdown? You must listen to AM talk radio all the time. 21 Guns was played to the point that I hated it, and Know Your Enemy was played to the point that I hated it more (quite a feat, indeed).

Us Syracuse folk don't get much Green Day on the radio. However back in 2005 every other song was GD!

I've heard Oh Love, 21 Guns, Know Your Enemy, American Idiot, Holiday, Boulevard, Welcome to Paradise, Basket Case, Minority, Waiting, Warning, Good Riddance, Brain Stew/Jaded, She, Longview, When I Come Around, Hitchin' a Ride, and even J.A.R. I remember. One time when I was on City Walk in Universal Cigs and Valentines was playing. I always seem to hear them when I'm on vacation, it's really weird. But yeah I've heard a lot.

But anyway I think there's another topic for that hahahah. I just would think, if anything, Nuclear Family or Stay the Night would make it. Another thing is that no song has gotten HUGE like the other albums...21 Guns, pick whichever you want from AI, Minority, Good Riddance, Brain Stew, Basket Case....

The only Green Day songs I ever hear on the radio are 1,000 Hours, Best Thing in Town, Emenius Sleepus, Stuart and the Ave, All the Time, and Hold On. The station plays them constantly. I'm afraid that people are going to get tired of them.

I don't know where you live, but I've never heard any of those songs on the radio.
