tomdsjames Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Rock Band has announced that Oh Love will be downloadable content this coming Tuesday 25th September. http://www.rockband.com/blog/green-day-oh-love
Chris_Kr93s Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Awesome! Great they´re still updating (GD) Rock Band..
Nikkilite Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 YESSS!!! but how the fuck do you download it? lol, been trying for along time to download some of 21CB, but cant really figure it out :/ Nah, whatever, this is awesome!!
Forever Now Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Hope all of !Uno is releasedl, thanks!
Sarcasm Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Most boring song to play in rockband though :/ I'd rather see kill the DJ or Loss of controll.
tomdsjames Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 Feel free to request the rest of Uno, I would personally love a bit of Rusty James http://www.rockband.com/request According to the FAQ section Oh Love will only be playable in Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz so you won't be able to play it on Green Day Rock Band, you'll have to have imported the rest of the songs into your rock band library if you want to play Oh Love in a Green Day setlist
Idiotic Tendency... Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 We'll have the official stems now.
Rianne Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Awesome, I will definitely get it. Hopefully there will be more Green Day DLC's soon.
DoodleBob Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 YESSS!!! but how the fuck do you download it? lol, been trying for along time to download some of 21CB, but cant really figure it out :/ Nah, whatever, this is awesome!! To get the 21stCB songs, you have to log on to the store through Rock Band 2 and there you will find the Green Day DLC that's able to be bought and downloaded for Green Day Rock Band.

Thank you, but that´s not the problem. I kinda know how to do it, but its my Wii that wont download anything!! i think there is something wrong with it Haha, but thanks anyways!
ANJI Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Looking forward to downloading this...but i hope they do more dlc songs
Hermione Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Unbelievably shit that it won't work with Green Day Rock Band. Make a whole game for a band and then release a song by the same band that won't work on it, great idea . There must be loads of people who'd wanna buy it who only have GD Rock Band and have no interest in buying other Rock Band games on account of them being rubbish. Fucking shit

Bittersweet Migraine Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Oh wow, that's pretty sweet.
Sanity Loan Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 The track pack makes no sense. Why include just one new song mixed with already released songs?
Lysdestic Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Damn, I had a feeling we'd get Green Day DLC this week with the new album coming out, but I was hoping for a three pack of, say Oh Love, Let Yourself Go, and Kill the DJ. I suppose those latter two aren't as family friendly as they could be, though. Ha ha. Stil, Oh, Love being the weakest song on the album (for me) I'm not as excited as I would be. The track pack makes no sense. Why include just one new song mixed with already released songs? As of right now, you can't obtain the Green Day songs for Rock Band 3 without the actually having a copy of Green Day: Rock Band. Releasing these songs in the store opens them up to more people that may not want to buy the full game, or have access to it. It's not surprising, in fact. The Track Packs typically get this treatment (Metal, Country, etc), so it makes sense that they'd do it with Green Day too.
JIGD13 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Well, I'm writing this because when GDA published the story of the realese of Oh Love to play on RB3 some people complained because they say that it should be first availabe for Green Day Rock Band but I think I have the answer: 1) They have to design the new ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! Stage which is not reveiled yet 2) Now that Jason it's a member the have to design his caracter 3)They have to the design all songs tabs 4) They have to decide wich song will be the ones that we can play! Hope your questions have an answer know and remember this is only what I think and no Harmonix or MTV quotes!
Dalya Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 I don't play this, but I think they have just stopped to care about this...
BradGreenDay Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 They should make the download so you can use it for RB3 and GDRB like they did with all the other DLC's like East Jesus Nowhere etc...
Jaybles Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Like Harmonix has said in the Q&A on their forums, anything from Rock Band 3 launch onward uses a different file format that can only be read in Rock Band 3. It would probably take longer to release a GD:RB version, because you have to think about creating new motion capture data, compatible charts, and possibly new character models/stage to fit with the 2012 era of Green Day. Hopefully in the future, they do release Uno or the whole trilogy as DLC or as a completely new game.

Hermione Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Thanks for the info. We already have a thread for talking about Oh Love being on Rock Band though so I've merged your thread with that one. Next time remember to search to see if there's already a thread for something before you make one Jason is a member now? wtf? He's credited alongside the rest of the band in the booklets of the new albums because he helped write them and played guitar on them (which he's never done before) and Billie's described him as the fourth member, so seems he's slightly more than just an "unofficial member" now. Check out this thread for more info and discussion on the subject.
