Song Of The Century/21st Century Breakdown is just so epic that I voted for it.

I think American Idiot, NGFL and Nuclear Family are also great opening tracks!

Definitely Burnout. It's got that whole "in your face" vibe and immediately sucks you in; I don't think Dookie would have been the same if any other track had opened up the album.

It's Nuclear Family for me at the minute, but I think they're all brilliant. They all set you up and set the tone for the rest of the album...now for album closers? Maybe someone else do that Very last line on the last song

tough decision between 'At the library...Burnout...Armatage Shanks..and Nice Guys Finish Last'...i voted for the Nimrod. opener in the end ^^ i didnt even care about Nuclear Family as the best opener (i already listened to NF but i didnt listen to UNO in full yet so i guess my decision about NF being the best opener for a full album has to wait ^^ )

This is tough! Green Day have always had brilliant opening tracks for albums and live shows, they really know how to plan out a set list and track list brilliantly! Gonna have to give it some more thought before voting...... but at the moment im loving Nuclear Family as an opening track and overall song i love it sooo sooo much, but i think im swaying towards it because its shiny and new, will think about it for a while then vote

For me, not all of them really work as " closing the album" if Good Riddance had closed Nimrod it would have worked better IMO

Also I've excluded All By myself, the live version of 86 from Warning and My Generation from Kerplunk
