darthliz25 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I can gladly say I've been a die hard fan of Green Day since 1994. I was only in 5th grade then. I always felt a bit odd because everyone I knew was into whatever radio friendly music was popular at the time. Even though I had friends, I felt they never really knew me. I found a sense of belonging listening to Green Day. Needless to say, that opened up my eyes to a whole world of punk music and made friends with people who also found salvation in Green Day and punk music. Sad to say, I started losing interest in Green Day after 21st Century Breakdown. But I'm not here to criticize their music, I will always respect them and their music will always have a fond place in my heart. Im posting because back in 2003 I stumbled onto this website and make a comment on someone's post. I don't remember what it was i posted, but a fellow Green Day fan contacted me and out of the kindness of his heart, mailed me several rare Green Day magazines. This person never asked for money and as hard as it was to part with his collection, he decided to pass it on to another fan....me. It has now been over 9 years since that kind act and I find myself in a similar situation. I have collected soo much Green Day stuff over the years and I no longer have space or use for them. I would like to pay it forward and give my Green Day stuff to you the fans. I find it hard to part with my collection, but I feel it's only fair. Please contact me (galaxy5liz@hotmail.com).
