stuart_and_the_ave Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I don't think there are scans for this anywhere. Green Day are in this months Big Cheese magazine in the UK. There isn't really anything new but it's a nice read. It also comes with a big Uno poster
Annie, get your gun Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Thank you so much for posting them!!!
Ingrid Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Wow, that was one positive article I'm not complaining though - thanks for posting!
Femme Gauche Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 As much as it is all pretty much re-hashed information, I do like this article. :3.
Idiotic Tendency... Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Uno poster, Huh? Might pick up a copy for that. Thanks
basKT_case90 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I think the sample lyrics it provides is based on fan-heard lyrics, not the official ones. First clue, they aren't even sure which is the correct word in Carpe Diem: are or aren't
Zelda Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 ANOTHER magazine? I'll add that one to the list. I'm going to be in debt by the time Tre comes out.
~ Walking Contradiction Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Thank you so much, you always scan a lot of articles for us I can't find all these magazines here so I'm glad someone shares the articles
burnout409 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 No new information but a really nice article i didn't see any negative the writer generally praised the band and their career! Did any one notice he called it "Sweet 6" instead of "Sweet 16" (Page 6, Paragraph 2)?
stuart_and_the_ave Posted September 8, 2012 Author Posted September 8, 2012 Your welcome I'm always happy when people scan magazines I can't get. The UNO poster is A2 size (59x42cm) incase anyone wants to know before buying it
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Thanks loads for the scans. I can't find this mag in my nearest newagents, i don't think they even stock Big Cheese anymores. And they're probably sold out elsewheres now. So i'm thinking of ordering this issue online. Now that i see the scans are up here (thanks again!) there is probably no point in spending my money and waiting for it to be delivered at all. Then again, i like owning an issue of BC whenever there is a good feature in it. IDK, the paper is so glossy (i like good quality paper and printing, i'm snobby like that, go away!) and the mag is a decent size. Though i don't really need the poster. So is it worth buying? Is there any other good features in it?
stuart_and_the_ave Posted September 14, 2012 Author Posted September 14, 2012 I only bought it for the Green Day article so for me it was worth it. The other main features (2-4 ish pages) in it are Vision of Disorder, Pure Love, Rival Sons, Buster Shuffle, Motionless in White, Whitechapel, Lower than Atlantis and Yellowcard.
Lauren Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 big cheese? never heard of that. looks cool, though. really like the poster. P.S. Yellowcard is back together again? I'm so confused when it comes to them.
stuart_and_the_ave Posted September 14, 2012 Author Posted September 14, 2012 It's pretty good. Green Day have been in it a few times. Just read the article, thier 8th studio albums has just come out and they played Warped Tour this year.
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I only bought it for the Green Day article so for me it was worth it. The other main features (2-4 ish pages) in it are Vision of Disorder, Pure Love, Rival Sons, Buster Shuffle, Motionless in White, Whitechapel, Lower than Atlantis and Yellowcard. Yeah, i looked today, wasn't in stock. Didn't really want that poster, and since the scans are up i'll just feasy my eyes on that. So thank you so so much! Thing i usually like about BC is it not only covers the big names in alternative and rock, but it also covers a lot of the underground, up and coming stuff, so you keep on track of what's new. Other mags like Kerrang don't really do that so much. That, and i love the size of it and the glossiness. Mmmmmm.
Hermione Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 What a fantastic article! Love the descriptions of the new albums.
