Billie Joe used to have a lower voice?

Does anyone else think that Billie Joe used to have a lower pitch to his talking and singing voice? I'm watching interviews from the 1990s and him talking onstage and the pitch of his voice seems lower. Usually people's voices get lower as they get older, but his has gotten higher with age. Does anyone else hear this? Sorry if this is a useless observation, but it's something that I've been thinking about.

I think the man was just much less enthusiastic when he was younger so his interviews were always low and mopey, but I agree it started to change a little after Warning.

His voice has changed a lot after American Idiot. I don't know, his voice sounded a bit different in 21st Century Breakdown.

Wow, I was just thinking about this the other day... But it seems to me it is just attitude, it's the sort of change that you can sort of modulate yourself, usually without even thinking about it. When I'm feeling pretty low-key, my voice sounds very different (lower) than when I am excited. It's definitely interesting to see it, though.

His balls dropped very late on in life.

I always liked more his pre-AI voice, but his actual one is cool too.

That coordinates so well with both of his children being born before American Idiot .

Actually I have no idea why. but I mean... he's punk, so he just can't act normal, duuuh?! :P But I noticed that, yea.

Increasing his range for singing over the years probably affected his speaking voice.

Please stop making really pointless threads. Think about what you're making a thread about and decide whether it's going to have worthy discussion that's going to last a while or whether it's going to be a) people listing stuff or b) go around and around in circles....

Thank you.

There's a thread with some discussion of Billie's voice over the years here, you might find it of interest. Remember to always search and as Bryony said think carefully before you make a thread. If you have a look around you'll often find there's already something similar being talked about in an existing one, or something even more interesting that you can join in a discussion on.
