ColinOr Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I used to keep up with Song Of The Week every week on GreenDayAuthority.com but then it stopped for some reason and is now posted exclusively on the forum. Why is this? I think it was better on the Authority website than the Community website. I am just wondering if there is any reason for this.
Harry Potter. Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Well, isn't GDA a more sort of public news site, and then Song of the Week is more for the community, so I think it makes more sense to do it only on GDC. That's just my opinion though.
Sarcasm Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 It's the same article on a different website and the same person doing them. Why was it better on GDA?
Nikkilite Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Thats why i havent seen the song of the week in a long time!! Ah, well, i think its right what Harry Potter. says. It fits better on GDC than GDA.....
TheGreenDayKidd Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I also think that is better to be here on GDC, than GDA. But that's just my opinion.
lizziebix Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I thought I've seen SOTW was also posted on GDA after it was posted on GDC. No?
Hermione Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Song of the Week has always been a GDC thing. It just used to also get posted on GDA after being posted on GDC sometimes to highlight it and let more people know about it. Just go ahead and pop onto GDC for it, there's more people here and more room for discussion on a forum than in a comments section. Btw in future if you have questions or suggestions about GDC/GDA, you can post them in the Help thread or Suggestions thread.
Fuzz Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 It was my decision to stop posting it over on GDA. I thought it just didn't make sense to have duplicate content on both sites. I think we'll continue posting SOTW on our twitter/facebook, but not as a news story when we have so much stuff happening.
