This was published yesterday and has some new information on some of the songs such as "Dirty Rotten Bastards", and "See You Tonight". They also hilariously talk about the numerous F-bombs on the albums and how they would be censored in radio. There is also more information about Billie Joe's experience so far on The Voice.

So now we know See You Tonight is the first track on Dos.

"We even took the three album cover photos of us on our iPhones."

I didn't know that... but I guess it was pretty obvious :P

"We never fight. And it's the relationship between the three of us that's the catalyst and where our music starts." - i like that part :)

'Even though I'm 40 I've been a cross between 18 and 40 since I was ten."

I can see it.

What a great read this interview was. Amazing.

“It’s an arena song then a sing-along and it takes off. We wanted to make something similar to Jesus Of Suburbia (off American Idiot) or a b-side off The Beatles’ Abbey Road.

“It’s a number of songs combined that make a giant sing-along and something you can dance to.”

This. Dirty Rotten Bastards is the song I'm looking forward to now. The next Jesus of Suburbia!

I wonder how long Dirty Rotten Bastards is? (I was going to call it DRB, but I don't think we're "there yet" in our relationship with that song, but it's definitely inevitable  ) For some reason I got the impression they were done with longerish songs... but if Oh Love can be 5 minutes, then this thing sure as hell deserves to be 7.

I didn't read this, but it seems cool so I probably will.

A song called Dirty Rotten Bastards that has an influence by the Abbey Road medley surely must be one of the greatest songs of all times!

Great interview! I loved it all! And now I can't wait for Dirty Rotten Bastards! :P

Yep, as I said in some other thread, this explains them dropping JOS in their recent shows - because they’ve made an even more awesomer one! :D Woooohhhh!!!!! Tre is going to be epic.

Is Dirty Rotten Bastards supposed to be 10 min long also?

We don't know. It's probably longer than 4 minutes though, if it's composed of multiple smaller songs.

There already is in my opinion. I always thought Homecoming is more epic on the album, and if 99 Revs is anything to go by, Dirty Rotten Bastards is bound to be pretty awesome.

I thought that was a really good read. One of the best print interviews we've had for a while. Kerrang! and NME take note please; The Sun just showed you up at your own job.

I wonder if Dirty Rotten Bastards is at all political. Or if there are any other political songs in general. They say that these albums talk about "Love, sex, AND politics," but if 99 Revolutions is the only political one, that's hardly a claim they should be making  And just judging by what we know and looking at the other song titles on Tre "Missing you" and "Brutal Love" and stuff, I really can't see there being many or any other political songs. Not that that's a bad thing or a good thing.

Pretty interesting article. Dirty Rotten Bastards sounds like a fantastic song. Can't wait to hear it!
