She is Amanda Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Ok, so I've noticed... Green Day is basically 25 years old now. Billie Joe started Sweet Children with his friends in 1987. Billie Joe and Mike were both on guitar and they had friends who were on drums and on bass. Eventually Billie Joe kicked out his other friends, moved Mike to bass, and found John Kiffmeyer as a drummer. The band became regulars at 924 Gilman. The band signed to Lookout Records changed their name to "Green Day" and released their first set of EP's and LP's. We know the rest of the story... So I was watching a few of the birthday videos for the band members and I was wondering, Green Day is 25 this year... and that is a HUGE milestone if you ask me. So I decided this was a good time for a collab video. The set up will be extremely similar to Billie Joe Armstrong's 40th birthday collab video. Some of you can send in pictures, and some of you can send in videos. In your picture or video, somehow explain what Green Day means to you, and if you have a video, add in how Green Day has helped your life. So yes, Deadline is September 12th. Send your videos (which can be linked to Youtube) and pictures to stamandawhatsername@gmail.com. Make sure to include your name on GDC and your location!! Reply to this topic if you want to be in the video. I need to keep track of how many people will be in it Also, If you have any questions leave them below, either I or MomoluvGD will answer them Update: DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 12th. That way the video will be ready about a week before the release of UNO
