Once, i was sleeping together with two friends, i dont know how we got to talk about Green Day, but somehow we did....

One of my friends then said to me "Oh, so just because youre a fan, then you know more about Green Day than we do?" and i said "uhm yeah" Then we started this stupid quiz, and she answered most of the questions wrong Later i found out, that her sister was a "fan" and my friend thought that she knew more about em than me because of that XD Her sister wasnt even a fan She just had Bullet In A Bible in her room, and she havent even seen it before XD

A friend called Green Day "tree huggers" once. I had no idea how he came to that concusion, then I realized the only thing he's seen of Green Day had to be their appearance in the Simpsons Movie... You know, where Billie says "Let's talk about the environment!", so because of that he thought Green Day were huge enviromentalists or something. He probably thinks they're called Green Day because they love Greenpeace or something! XD

This one time, during class, it was the last few days of the school year, and the teacher had to have doing something, so we played this game where we would name our favorite things, like favorite colors and shit like that. Tbh, I don't know how that was even a game, but whatever. So the teacher had asked what was our favorite band or singer. We had to answer one by one, going down each row. I swear, the first 5 answers were Justin Beiber, and when it was my turn, of coarse, I answered Green Day. Those same 5 girls and most of the class, all asked in unison, "What's a Green Day?" or "Who's Green Day?". All I could do was laugh at them. Luckly, I wasn't alone. This other guy had also liked Green Day, but we never really talked..

So yeah, that's the funniest thing I've ever heard anyone say about Green Day.

Someone mentioned how Billie is married, and this one girl said, "He's MARRIED?? I mean, no offense, he's awesome, but WHO in their right mind would marry HIM??? He's so... WEIRD!" Well this was kind of funny. My brother’s friend came over and I had Bullet in a Bible out he read the songs on the back and said “Dang Green Day is a hardcore Christian band” lol I laughed and told him no. Then he said “Yes they are Welcome to Paradise is about going to heaven, Jesus of Suburbia is about Jesus” I forgot what else he said. Haha I told him what the songs were really about, but he said no.

Haha also there was this one kid who liked me who had no idea who Green Day was before he met me. He would call me almost every night and tell me Green Day news via Green Day FB from days ago. Then he would tell me I looked up to see when they are touring again. Haha I would tell him yeah I read/ heard that a few days ago and I would tell him when Green Day comes since I get all the updates via Green Day Community and Green Day FB’s, Green Day’s website, idiot club, Green Day community, Green Day Authority, and Green Day related Twitters. Haha everyday he would look it up lol.

Not really what someone said, but strange. I was at Walmart the other week and this guy was walking by with his GF and he was wearing a GD shirt. I commented on how much I loved it, and they both looked at me like, and I don't mean this to sound offensive, but they truly both looked at me like I was retarded and had just yelled gibberish at them. They both just looked down at his shirt, didn't make eye contact after that and kept walking away without saying a word. I mean, I may have stared a little longer than they were comfortable with, just because it was kind of a small logo and I couldn't say with certainty it was a GD shirt until they got closer to me, but still, once I complimented your shirt you should have figured out why I was looking!

Needless to say I was super embarrassed. What the hell, GD fan?
