Annie, get your gun Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I started watching Paradise Kiss yesterday, and this girl, Yukari was reading The Catcher In The Rye. I keep reminding myself the book has nothing to do with them, but since Billie wrote a song about it I think it's not so wrong (And this is the 2nd cartoon where a girl is reading this book! haha) Quote
Popular Post AlissaGoesRAWR Posted June 22, 2014 Popular Post Posted June 22, 2014 Yesterday someone called me an "outlaw" at work, and the next person responded by saying "yeah, she's a rebel!" There's no way that wasn't intentional. They know. 7 Quote
lizziebix Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I heard the Americans in Rio for FIFA are calling themselves the outlaws. Quote

localinsomniac Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Anybody heard of these guys? They're a Belgian pop-punk band. Tight, melodic and fast; I have yet to hear a track from this band that I don't enjoy. This is from their most recent EP, with a Green Day reference in the chorus. Pat1308 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I can't remember if I've posted this here before, but apparently there's this Japanese band named Haushinka. Not surprisingly, they seem to like Green Day. Quote
bagelfeet Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 The episode of King Of The Hill with them just came on Quote
Pat1308 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Wasn't the song title referencing this? So it goes full circle: Going to Pasalacqua (sic) was I believe referring to this place, and now it gets posted in a Green Day reference thread. 1 Quote
Backyard Skulls Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Just about to go onto a car ferry and I've seen a van from a wilderness tour in Berkeley, California. No idea why it's here but Berkeley always reminds me of green day Quote

Billie Joe referenced this funeral home in the song. It is along a street that they frequently hung out on. 1 Quote
Hermione Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Was reading the trash that is The Sun's "Fabulous" magazine. It included an interview with former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt which contained the interesting fact that "Kimberly's first crush was Billie Joe from Green Day" 1 Quote
Hermione Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Was walking past a pub yesterday and heard some familiar music coming from inside - a local teenage band was playing Holiday 2 Quote
