Green Day Dreams

Having really enjoyed AI 20th Box Set, it remined me of this amazing 14 minutes of heaven with the band in the studio recording AI.

Love pretending I've got an exclusive seat there in the studio, listening to and loving every jaw dropping minute, as they discuss and develop each song. Maybe this should have been included in the box set.

Had a dream that I was watching a current GD show and was very happy bc Billie had dyed his hair black again. But then it switched to him on Celebrity Jeopardy and he had his hair in a blond ponytail. 🫤

Had a funny dream last night involving Mike Dirnt

I was traveling in a bus on a highway through a landscape that looked a bit like the background of the BOBD video, and then some people in the bus notice that there's a guy in a nice motorcycle riding next to the bus being recorded by a camera crew in a truck in front of them, and I and some other people in the bus recognize he's Mike, and some of the people who recognized him were these girls who went full fangirl mode and started screaming at him. So he eventually steps onto the bus (??? there was no action sequence here, he was in his motorbike and the next second he's just walking into the bus cool as a cucumber ). So first he gets surrounded by the teens who are just asking for autographs and pictures and so on, and then he comes to me and I have my teen moment too, which dies down after a minute, but he's still there, the teens and the rest of the people who recognized him are gone somehow, and I'm trying to keep my cool and my mind is frantically searching for something to say or to ask that won't sound too fangirl or too stalker, and after a couple attempts we finally strike up a nice conversation it was a very normal conversation, like I forgot who I was talking to, but I cannot remember what it was about. I just know that after a while he had to leave again, and then I was like "damn! I forgot to ask him if we could take a picture" and then I woke up.

Hah sounds like one of those "unfinished business" dreams where you try to fall asleep to go back .

I had some weird fucking dream last night that Green Day had turned themselves into small singing hamsters.

I brought them into my house because a hawk was trying to eat them.

Last night I dreamed that The Coverups played 8th Avenue Serenade but I was so stunned that I just stood there. Everyone thought I'd never actually listened to it and I was just lying about it being my favourite Green Day song to sound cool.

Later they covered This Love by Taylor Swift, but the show ended early because my reaction to 8th Avenue Serenade somehow prompted the apocalypse. Don't remember exactly what the apocalypse entailed except fans trying to meet Green Day when whatever was happening took out their bodyguards (most realistic part of the dream).

I had a dream last night that I was trying to get to a baseball stadium, but I got lost and actually went to a "Green Day party". It looked like a warehouse with boxes everywhere, lol. It was supposed to be a saviors party I think. I saw that they bought black chairs and sofas with a pink foot rest. No one was there tho lol... just me. But the scariest part is when I drove away I found the baseball stadium and it actually links to a nightmare that I had a while ago. I guess we know what happened before my previous baseball stadium nightmare loll.

I had a dream that Green Day was playing a show in Tirana and I was obviously there for it (but in seats?!). Hoping that comes true some day (minus the seats part ).

It's me again, with another Green Day concert dream  (I think I'm just missing the tour). 

This time I dreamed that they were playing a show in Amsterdam, but it was a very weird location. It was indoors, kind of felt like it could have been a shopping mall type of building? Like I remember I rode down an escalator to go down to the "pit". And the stage was like a kid's play ground thing (like these ones with sort of slides and  "towers" that are interconnected by hanging tunnels or bridges), but huge! And there was a pause in the show for some reason, during which I met a colleague who was also at the show, and then he got pulled on stage for KYE  I also suspect I have had this dream before, or a similar one, but cannot consciously remember it, because at some point in the dream I had the certainty someone I know was gonna get pulled on stage, and I was trying to remember who, like I had already seen it happen.

i've only had one singular green day related dream in my life and i'm sad that it wasnt longer...

i also hardly remember anything here

but here we go:

since cemetry by silverchair was playing on my speaker and i was about to wake up (i regularly sleep to silverchair), the last bit of the dream was green day doing a cover of that song live somewhere around '94 in this very enclosed space, but somehow billie sounded like daniel johns... And billies pants were down... completely. probably cuz i found out at the time there are pictures of naked bj out there

now thats its been 2 months since ive had that dream, i remember being up on that stage for a bit.

the last bit of the dream that i remember isn't green day related is this...

i was on my bed and like i was able to just spawn a daniel johns?? what? so i was spawning a bunch daniel johns' (you only get to have one daniel johns simultaneously) that just sat there looking stupid and then out of nowhere i just spawned a daniel johns that was crawling towards me. dream ends. wow...

yes that was part of the same dream

i think this is the last dream i've remembered enough to write down. im not sure what any of that was about but okay i guess

I had a dream the other night that I brought my horse along to a Green Day show. Luckily he was just vibing, lol. But it was kind of weird.

my green day dreams are always so vaguely green day related but whatever. skip to paragraph 3 if you just want the green day bit

today i had a dream where i got on a game with it's servers full, supposedly for an event. one of my school friends just so happened to be there and all of a sudden we we're actually in the game. with our real bodies...

anyways the event i believe started 5 minutes after i joined. soon enough the place went dark, a lot of places were removed or extending for extra space and there were now rows of shelves. then there were big cards all over the new seats and the ground and stuff, and we had to collect the best ones for the end of the event. anyone in a pair had to whisper to each other n stay silent. HOWEVER.

eventually, we went through the shelves. look who's there? billie joe armstrong. just picking something out on the shelves. presumably '97 billie, except he had bright blue (not teal) (not aqua) (not blurple) hair, and the same colored as his jacket. and i was like what the flip thats billie joe armstrong... he was on his own too. just doing something by the shelves. i dont know what. so we pass by not the be weird and get out of the shelves and continue the event. 

5 minutes we go into a different row of shelf and he's there. again. just doing something. then i notice how fucking short he is and is barely taller than me in the slightest and im like "wow he's pretty short" to my pair. n we try not to make him hear cuz we're right behind him (thank fuck he didnt). then we leave the shelves again cuz we're just scared ...

so we continue and then we run into him AGAIN. outsidw the shelves this time and its like "fuck this shit" and we pass by again. and he just so happens to not be looking at the insides of the shelves this time and he. he like. turns to face our direction and his eyes just fucking gone it was just this big void of black and. lets just say this was my reaction

good thing he was gonna do something else cuz. what the flip.

anyways dream ended at some point. im scared
