The idea for this shirt was created by M1KEY a couple years ago when he made his own shirt, obviously inspired by East Jesus Nowhere. With his permission we're designing the shirt to produce something for GDA. The design below as made by spark in the night. Before we go forward and announce it and start selling it, I'd like to get feedback from you guys. Would you buy this shirt if you could afford it? Anything you think could be improved?

I think it's a really cool idea, and I may buy one. Although, don't you mean "don't test me" is from East Jesus Nowhere?

Lol. How can you tell? Play the whole song backwards and that part will be forwards? How do you play a song backwards?

Seriously? Reverse it using audio software. Reverse the direction of your record player.

wow, I guess I never paid enough attention to know it said "don't test me" backwards, haha.

Anyway the shirt is cool. I'm wondering if the letters should be in mirror image though, rather than just the phrase spelled backwards but the letters facing the correct direction?

Mind blown. Didn't even realize the letters weren't backwards.

I thought it looked weird and then noticed the Es were facing the right way. but yeah, if you want to be able to read the shirt while looking in the mirror, the letters should all be flipped.

I also like the mirror image suggestion.

I was just recently appreciating Mikey's shirt during his Longview moment. I'd buy it for the sheer purpose of confusing the masses! :D

Ooooooooh! I always wondered what was said there. Now that I know what it means, I do like it. Another shirt to confuse people with! :D

Well the goal wasn't to be able to read the shirt in the mirror, but I see what you're saying.

The reason I liked them this way was because it just looked like it said something in a different language rather than looking like it was accidentally printed the wrong way.

Damn. I cant reverse my record player.

If you listen to East Jesus Nowhere, there's a bunch of random shit at the beginning, right? If you get a program and play all of that stuff backwards, someone actually is heard saying "Don't test me" backwards (which I always thought was really cool). That's probably why he designed it that way.

Agreed. That's how I wanted my original shirt to be, but wasn't able to do it as I had it made at a custom t-shirt shop where they press pre-made letters/designs on the fabric.

I'm somewhat amazed at how many people here didn't know what was said backwards at 0:22. When EJN was released with 5 other songs from 21st CB everyone was wondering what it was, and then someone figured it out and everyone was talking about it.

Cruel.

You'd still sleep with me.

I like this shirt for the same reason I like the "six pack of apathy" shirt, it doesn't put Green Day in your face with some small related artwork next to it.

I like the t-shirts that seem sort of weird but cool to someone who doesn't know the songs, but is instantly related to Green Day by a fan. In this case though, I didn't know about this being in the song myself, like some others apparently.

That said, I don't buy shirts online, although the six pack of apathy one tempted me a lot and I'd still buy that over this one.

I think it's really cool, I like the reference a lot, it's that kind of thing that only a Green Day fan can get. Anyway I'd add a little "Green Day Inc." or something similar under the "T'NOD", where there's that empty space. I like the fact that Green Day fans can see I love Green Day too, but I'd like it more if "normal people" could see it as well :) Only my opinion though.
