The Pedestrian Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 It HAS to be KTDJ! PLaying a song which subtly attacks pop culture and the media would be hilarious at the VMAs.
Elena Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 in Germany Oh Love is now at 51 in the Viva Top 100 (German Single Charts) ...and they played it at Formula1 a few times...and i've often heard it on the radio, but once even with the solo and without anything cut out, it's a great radio song ...and i think it's even better live, at Rock am See everyone sang along to it... A few days ago I would have said "Nah, they wouldn't do that type of thing anymore." Then I saw the video from Rock am See. hehe and they did it again
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 So every week I do this "rate the music" survey, and this is what influences what gets played at my local stations. They FINALLY put Oh Love in there! That means they'll probably start playing it at our radios now (depending on how people rate it). Yay! Be a big radio hit!! Of course I gave Oh Love the highest rating possible I like to think that I'm helping change what's on the radio. So maybe Oh Love can start doing well on popular radio now, and then people will be more excited for their new albums p.s. I'm pretty sure this is a nationwide thing, if other people want to sign up. You just indicate what station(s) you like most in your area, then you do surveys rating songs that they'll potentially play on your indicated stations. My top stations were the 3 general pop music stations and this new one that plays mostly alternative music of the last decade (it's my favorite - they play a lot of Green Day and most of my other favorite bands/singers), so these are songs they will play on those stations.
