Why are you even buying all those versions when you know most of them have nothing new to offer :P

I dont. I get the bootlegs off here, or youtube. Greendaybootlegs2010.webs.com has a shitload of old bootlegs.

Mann, I was hoping for something a bit more exciting than live versions of old songs. They're not even rare ones. Ah well, I'll probably get it anyway just because I like to own everything.

I'm glad iTunes are releasing it in the UK tomorrow, far better than the August date we were speculating. I've already downloaded it from youtube cause I neeeeeded it on my iPod, but I can't not buy it as well when it comes to Green Day.

How do we know iTunes is releasing it tomorrow?

I did a tutorial for the solo, so any guitar players who couldn't figure it out, take a look.

I feel kind of annoyed that the EP just has Oh Love, and then 4 live songs we've heard before. How many live versions of American Idiot do I need?! I already have all of those live, and it's not like there's that much of a difference between different performances. Grr.

I was hoping for some b-sides that wouldn't make it onto the trilogy. Or maybe a new cover song, or some acoustic versions of the new songs, or live versions of some new songs (maybe from the secret shows).

Oh well. Maybe the singles or other EPs will have different exciting stuff!

Damn! So expensive for just an EP. I guess I'll wait for someone else to sell it on ebay, and at a much more reasonable price

Wow, that EP is as miserable as ist gets. 4 more live recordings of their most succesfull singles is a joke. We have an official DVD, tons of bootlegs and even more TV appearances. No need for more versions...

But money rules the world...

Lots of complaining about an EP no one has to buy on here. You can buy the single on its own cheaply enough. Chill.

Maybe the versions of Know Your Enemy and American Idiot are from their secret shows last fall. That would be cool.

Yeah, I wouldn't pay that much, I was just throwing that option out there.

Played this for a friend at work that's a non-Green Day fan. She immediately started dancing. Made my day! :)

I knew this song reminded me of another one that they've done and it was driving me crazy! Last night I was humming it when I realized that my brain kept switching over to Poprocks & Coke and that's the song. They have to same semi-slow yet dancey, happy vibe to them.

Hmmm, I've never really associated these two songs. To me, Poprocks is not as slow as Oh Love, and they don't share the same melody.
