Green Day Merch Section on GDA - Give us feedback and stuff

We're just about ready to launch this merch section on GDA. It'll be a place where we organize and highlight some Green Day merch across the web through our affiliates. For now we're going to launch with Green Day Books and DVD's, and of course GDA merch.

The feature I'm most excited about is allowing people to leave reviews, similar to Amazon. I thought it'd be really useful for fans to be able to talk about specific items to give other fans an honest idea of the product. This is pretty essential to stuff like DVD's and Books, where some can be real crap and others amazing.

I'd love some feedback on the section, suggestions on any improvements we can make, before we post about it on the main site.

Let me know. Thanks!

I think by the books and dvd section, because it's underneath the GDA merch section, you just need clarify that stuff doesn't go towards our costs.

holy crap. that shit looks awesome. I wish I had some money for it.

I agree with Bryony. At first glance it seems like everything is going towards GDA. You might need to clarify that somehow or change the order so the GDA Merch section is at the bottom.

Oh, and that the preview doesn't show everything you guys have to offer (like, it doesn't show the apathy shirts). But I'm just going to guess this is just a rough draft and everything will be able to be seen once it's up and ready.

Click a section title to view all the items in that section. That main page is meant to just be a "preview" of each section.

Any way you could put an Amazon.co.uk link to the books and dvds under the Amazon.com link for people in Europe? Obviously not for me, but for the people too lazy to google it! :D

Assuming said merchandise is actually available over here. Probably a rubbish suggestion! :P

Ahhh, gotcha!

An estimate of shipping time after you place an order would be nice. And a "All heil Andres"tshirt with a picture of a mexican flag.

I should be a creative advicor for the merch designers.

The merch page looks awesome can't wait to see the whole thing up. Fanastic Job Andres makes me want to buy stuff if I had money lol

I think you need to clarify that the proceeds from the merch in the GDA section goes towards the site. Might encourage people to buy! Also so people know the other stuff doesn't go toward it.

I didn't realise there were more items when you clicked into each section so maybe somehow clarify that since other people thought the same. Maybe just a "click for more" button or whatever. Oh, or you could make it automatically scroll, if possible?

Other than that I can't think of anything tbh. Looks good. :D

I'm still waiting for the collection of merch with Mikey's face on it... And his signature quote, of course.

This looks really great, now that you've made those changes I can't really see anything else that needs improving. I suppose you could have a way of converting currency? But then that'd probably annoy me, I'd just google it if I wanted an accurate conversion. So don't do that

I love that there is a review system, in particular for the books and DVDs; I've bought some pretty shitty documentaries in the past and the money could've been better spent on different merch.
