Green Day to headline 'Rock am Ring'-Festival 2013---(not officially confirmed)

the official press conference for the 'RaR'-festival...the two organisators (Andre and Marek Lieberberg) gave some hints about next years headliner:

I probably won't make it to the festival (in June 2013 I'll be 15, but I don't think that I could convince my mom to go there anyway. And, of course, it's a lot of money which I better spend for other Green Day gigs in Germany..), but I'm really forward to watch it on TV with my best best friend

..But I hope they won't play the same day as 30 seconds to mars..

Let's hope this will happen! If it's true then there is also a pretty big chance that they'll be at Pinkpop again. Pinkpop is a week later and those festivals usually have a lot of bands in common.

They just played this year, so that's highly unlikely to happen.

I have to convince my parents for this if they really play there ...but i hope there'll also be some other great bands like Die Toten Hosen (where i highly doubt that they'll play there, cos they were there this year) or Die Ärzte...or maybe Social D or just any other good band, cos the tickets are just fucking expensive for just one good band

Because a lot of bands that played at RaR this year - like die toten Hosen, Metallica, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson etc. - are playing at Nova Rock this week, too
