No Rhyme Or Reason Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I like it! I agree with Matt about releasing a single kind of early. Since they'll have sooo many new songs, it would make sense to release more singles, and an early first single would make sense and give more time for other releases. Maybe 2 singles before Uno comes out? I don't know, I'm still confused about how they're going to do this with 3 albums, but I'm excited. I hope each album has 2 singles. And they need to be great songs that are representative of the albums (ie, not like KYE), and they need to get proper videos & promotion (ie, not like EJN.... ) Also, I have to agree with Andres on the tour thing. They do seem a little too consistent. I really just want them to leave enough room for more new songs, cause that's what I really want to hear. But also play some older songs that we have't heard a zillion times. Just more variety. I don't know. It'd be hard to make a set list for them, because they have so many great songs, but it would be cool if they let fans choose some songs. Like what Kelly Clarkson did on her tour earlier this year - for each show, fans could tweet her requests, and she would choose one of them to sing. It could be her own song or a cover. It was awesome, because every show was different! And fans had some control over what songs they played. It'd be cool if Green Day did something like that! (p.s. I requested Kelly to do a GD cover since she's a fan, but she didn't pick mine. She picked a Beatles song instead, lol. Oh well)
