Because topless isn't sexy.  It leaves nothing to the imagination.  It is like reading the end of the book so you know the ending before you start.  I would rather see him wear something sexy, and see what he can do with it than walk around topless.

Well we can agree to disagree, performing topless is close to cringeworthy for me.  It is someone trying too hard to be sexy and he doesn't need to try so hard.  Plus someone trying too hard is a huge turn off.
