I remember a year and a half or so ago when I was a member they told us to submit some "what are your top 5......?" questions and said they'd ask Green Day the best ones. People submitted them but it never happened. Hopefully they'll deliver what they're promising this time

This is true. Yet they still say on the sign up page "A one year membership is $20 and gets you..." "...Periodic contests with exclusive prizing and random giveaways". Until they're able to deliver that for every person who pays the $20 wherever they live they should remove that piece of false advertising from the page.

Yeah they did do the Q&A with Adrienne recently so it seems likely. Mostly just annoyed they failed to do stuff while I was signed up . Hopefully they'll continue doing stuff during the next time I'm signed up for presales

The Idiot Club should definitely be cheaper for members outside of US. It does suck not having the opportunity to participate in most contests etc.

Yeah,that stops me from trying IC now xD I guess we should send a petition to make them worldwide.Anyway,they could just be trying out the Q&A idea and when they see it works and is cool they'll open them worldwide or something.I just don't see why they would keep them US-exclusive only on purpose,all they would get is less questions.

Why don't we make a YouTube collab video and all hold signs like "Please give us, Europeans/Asians/Whatevers a chance to enjoy the Idiot Club too!" or something.

I emailed them once saying that they should change the wording of "A one year membership is $20 and gets you..." "...Periodic contests with exclusive prizing and random giveaways" if they're not able to deliver it to those outside the US. I suggested they could add "where applicable" or "for US members". They emailed me back saying they won't be changing it because they sometimes have early entry contests for shows in different countries. Well that's a load of bollocks because they don't have them every year or in every country and they know full well that when people read that they don't think it just means an early entry contest. If they won't even do so much as be honest about what they can and can't deliver on the sign up page then tbh I don't hold out much hope for them actually trying to find a way to deliver it.

I think it'd be great if more people emailed them when they do unfair/misleading things though! If they can't offer contests to everyone for legal reasons or whatever then fine, it just annoys me when they're not honest about it.

Actually it's very weird for me to hear Green Day isn't being honest.But if Billie Joe isn't good at computers,or that I heard,probably Mike,Tré and Billie aren't directly controlling all the things concerning the site,so maybe the non-honest people are only the ones who are suppossed to run the site...if that even made sense.

It's not the band, they don't have anything to do with running the Idiot Club. It's just the description of what they're offering on the sign up page that's misleading. They just need to re-word it.

Yeah,they should reword it.I don't think any of Green Day's member would think that is right.But yeah,we should definitely make some petition for them to expand contests and IC things,at least for Europe.Europe is an important continent and they have lots of fans here.
