Opezi Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I'm selling my replica of Billie Joe's Blue on eBay. Starting bid at $150. (No international sale or shipping, sorry). Fantastic condition. http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1555.l2649 ** I really have no idea where to post this topic, anyone willing to move it, by all means, my apologies. I just want this to be promoted properly. Thanks Ashley
Sweet Armataged Chump Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I would totally bid on it if I had the money. I suck
Sarcasm Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Did you change the pickups or are those originals? c: I'm interested Oh wait, what if I pay the shipping?
Opezi Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 Well there is a seymour duncan humbucker pickup installed on it. I bought it with that, the original maker did change the pickups. What if you pay shipping? It requires so. $20. EDIT: NO, I forgot. I put the pickup on it myself.

Opezi Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 Sorry, didn't realise. Well, I won't sell to international buyers because with eBay's new policy, I have to wait thirty days until reimbursed and with international shipping costs being much higher for such item, it will cost me money I won't have. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry. Oh well, fuck eBay, then xD I really wanted that.. And I can afford it pretty soon too :/
Opezi Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 Damn. I'll keep you posted, if I happen to get the money for shipping, I will message you and let you buy it. Okay? (:
Sarcasm Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Hey! What about the Les Paul... If this was shipped over seas the Les Paul could commit suicide xD I'm getting the Les Paul since this didn't work out :/
Forever Now Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I would bid on it but I spent so much $ on ebay lately if I spend anymore I'll get cut from paypal by my dad.
Sarcasm Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I'm sorry, The Les Paul is way better than this! Don't forget, shipping can be a bitch. 4 years..lol. Define better? I know it probably has a higher quality build and a wider varaity of sounds when hooked to my amp, but THIS ONE IS SO COOL!
Sarcasm Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I didn't check the brand, is this a stratacoaster? xD
Sarcasm Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Well Billie's blue is a start of course This is just a replica, and it can't be a real strat, According the bidding price.. I just assumed since it's a replica of his guitar. I don't know the price range of strats, I thought they were cheap since his mom got it and she was on a low budget.
Opezi Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 no shady shit of this guitar is the brand has been scratched out on the head. But what I can tell you is that when you plug this guitar in, it sounds absolutely marvelous.
Jet Taman Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Hey, I sold Ashley this guitar and nothing is shady shit about the brand. It's a Jay Turser. I've used this brand since 2005 when I started making Blue replicas and have sold to Green Day tribute bands, beginner guitarists, and everyone in between and have always had 100% customer satisfaction. i even use one myself when playing live. Even Ashley herself says it sounds absolutely marvelous. I'm sorry to see you selling it, Ashley
Opezi Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 ^ Yeah, it's a great guitar! Thanks for the info, I needed that. Yeah, I am sad I've got to sell it. My uncle is selling his guitar and giving the earnings to me, with the amalgam of his and my profit and additional cash, I hope to buy myself a telecaster

Well Billie's blue is a start of course This is just a replica, and it can't be a real strat, According the bidding price.. uhm...Billie's Blue wasn't a Fender Stratocaster, it was also "just" a replica, that's why it was so cheap, but it sounded amazing anyways... a real Fender Stratocaster Mexican Standard costs about 500-600€ (that would be a bit more in $)...i speak from experience ...if you wanna have an American Standard it costs WAY more and this guitar looks lovely
July21 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 wow what a masterpiece! but billie's guitar is more like a mint green, still can't really understand why he called it blue xD
Jet Taman Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 wow what a masterpiece! but billie's guitar is more like a mint green, still can't really understand why he called it blue xD Thanks for the compliment! www.BJGuitars.com to see all sorts of versions from 1994-2011. However, when Billie first got his guitar it was this color--daphne blue/sonic blue. Through the years it has faded and the color is not so blue anymore. If you look at early versions of his guitar it is much more blue than it is now, but you're right, Juleey, it has turned a minty color now.

DoodleBob Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Sort of off topic, but since you're on this thread I might as well ask. I'm trying to convince my sister to buy me one of your guitars for my birthday ( ), there's no tax on it right? Just $300 plus the $25 shipping fee? (I need to give her an exact price.)
