desertrose Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 The full version is online. Billie Joe first comes in at 5:50 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmy7O_KRKdc
Sarcasm Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 oh my fucking gawd, the hat, the beard xD When was this made?
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Seeing Billie look like that is kind of scary.... Not good. And it was totally distracting me from what he was saying, so I don't even know if he made good comments!
Alan86 Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Just watched it. Its actually really cool. I only intended watching a few minutes of it but kinda got sucked in and watched the whole thing. All the bands were really complimentary towards one another. Nice to see Green Day get the final mention too. Green Day have sold over 50 million albums worldwide, have won numerous Grammy Awards and are acknowledged to be the most successful punk rock band of all time
Heather. Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 oh my fucking gawd, the hat, the beard xD When was this made? One can only assume during the dark ages between AI and 21CB?
petros Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Haha everybody talks about how Billie looks but this was such a great documentary actually! I loved how all those punk artist talk about how they all are great punk bands but now people say shit like "greenday aren't punk", "all the bands who sign to major label aren't punk" and "the punk movement on 90s wasn't punk" and all this shit. Not that I care about other people opinions but I really enjoyed watching that. Also it was great to honor Jerry Finn at the end he was such a great producer. Billie Joe is like the Paul McCartney of this scene.
Cris. Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Bahahahaha. This is great. "Billie Joe killed grunge". I had never seen it that way.
Guest emmylove Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 i thought this got cancelled XD good to see this finally came out
adrocker Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Really enjoyed this documentary was super cool, they are right Green Day are the biggest punk band of all time

ThibautDookie Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I saw it yesterday, nice documentary about punk rock music.
Hermione Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Cool that it's finally out! Have to watch it when I get the chance. Is there much more Billie than the little clips we've seen?
Disapperingirl Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 One can only assume during the dark ages between AI and 21CB? I thought he kinda looked like in the birthday video for Metallica Billie's beard and everything apart, I'm at like half of the documentary, and I really like the attitude it was made with, toward the whole topic and especially toward Green Day
Hermione Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I thought he kinda looked like in the birthday video for Metallica Billie's beard and everything apart, I'm at like half of the documentary, and I really like the attitude it was made with, toward the whole topic and especially toward Green Day Billie's interview for this was filmed in 2007. He rocked the bearded look for a little while that year.
Disapperingirl Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Billie's interview for this was filmed in 2007. He rocked the bearded look for a little while that year. Oh yes I read it was recorded around that time...it was just a kind of unnecessary observation Thanks for pointing that out though
Hermione Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Oh yes I read it was recorded around that time...it was just a kind of unnecessary observation Thanks for pointing that out though Oh I see, well I agree except for the old lady's headscarf is missing
sara_gd Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 It amuses me that Larry Livermore always tells the story of the first time he saw Green Day saying "they were like the Beatles at the Shea Stadium"
Mary711 Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I'm happy Billie's look during that phase only lasted for a while.
The Snark Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I have to wait until I get home to watch this, but I can't get over how much Billie looks like my uncle!
The Grohl Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Man I never even heard of this! I know what I'm watching tonight!
July21 Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 GOSH! i hate to say this but billie looks like a disgusting caveman!
Larry Livermore Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 It amuses me that Larry Livermore always tells the story of the first time he saw Green Day saying "they were like the Beatles at the Shea Stadium" Yeah, I've really got to come up with a new story! Who even remembers the Beatles anymore? Plus they tore down Shea Stadium a couple years ago!
