Mozzabillie Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I just got this email from "Thrill Call"! Does anybody know if this is true??? http://thrillcall.com/artist/Green_Day?utm_campaign=weekly&utm_content=artist-16202&utm_term=This+Week+in+Live+Music&utm_medium=email&utm_source=thrillcall&tracking_id=15610196&
WestboundSign! Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Yes, this is true. And there's already a thread for it ()
Harry Potter. Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Yes, it is. And in fact i'm going there. But like WestboundSign! already said, there is already a thread for this.
Mozzabillie Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 LOL I was getting all excited and reading the "DE" as Delaware which is a state in the United States! (Stupid over excited me!) I was all excited and thought they were starting to announce the tour dates in the United States...just wishful thinking! I just noticed the other thread after I posted this. The administrators can go ahead and delete the thread now if they want to please. I thought it was an odd name for a town in Delaware and even had to copy and paste it since I couldn't spell it! IThey REALLY need to announce dates in the US, like NOW.
WestboundSign! Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I'm going as well. And I'm sure it won't take too long until they'll play some shows in the US as well!
Harry Potter. Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Until the mods close this... LET'S MAKE THIS A SPAM THREAD!!! Nah, just kidding.
Mozzabillie Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 I'm going as well. And I'm sure it won't take too long until they'll play some shows in the US as well! I'm going as well. And I'm sure it won't take too long until they'll play some shows in the US as well! I'm wondering why they didn't say "Germany" in the email instead of "DE"? With me being in the United States, I am automatically thinking "Delaware" since that is the postal abbreviation for it in the US. I'm not use to getting emails about concerts in other countries so this really threw me off. The other thread also says "Germany" instead of "DE" so that is confusing, too.
WestboundSign! Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I know, right? On the back of the tour shirts from 2010, it also says "Munich, DE" instead of "Munich, GER" or something like that. Always confused me.

Elena Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I know, right? On the back of the tour shirts from 2010, it also says "Munich, DE" instead of "Munich, GER" or something like that. Always confused me. yeah and they should either write "München, DE" or "Munich, GER" - everything in one language and not begin with english and continue with german and i'm also wondering why they said DE in the post and not GER...
Katarina. Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 You got that today? Weird, cause we know about that show since.. Idk, longer than a week

By post, do you mean what I said in my post or the email link? I said DE in my post because that is what was in the email if you check the link that I posted. That is what threw me off. If it had said "GER" in the email to begin with, then it would have made total sense. You got that today? Weird, cause we know about that show since.. Idk, longer than a week You got that today? Weird, cause we know about that show since.. Idk, longer than a week Yes, I just got the email this morning from Thrill Call. Why does every post that I quote show up twice??? Maybe it is just my computer acting up and showing it like that.
solongfromthestars Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Aww, I can understand how that happened I know, right? On the back of the tour shirts from 2010, it also says "Munich, DE" instead of "Munich, GER" or something like that. Haha that's silly, I think my Hannover t-shirt is actually all in German, in English it's spelled "Hanover" (?) But the t-shirt days Hannover, DE. At least they got one right! Or they just didn't know there was an English spelling. I always wondered why the UK t-shirts said GBR and not UK. Like Birmingham, GBR. I mean it makes sense and all but why not UK? This has gone totally off topic now. A mod needs to come and close it
Hermione Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 How did I not see this? Must be going blind. Thanks for posting the existing thread, here it is again: http://www.greendayc...adbach-germany/
