lizziebix Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I could be wrong(as usual), but i'd assume the marketing push for Tre won't go into overdrive until Dos is released. Same goes for Dos. There'll be mentions of them, but you won't be seeing any adverts in magazines or on the tv. I suppose. But we still know that they're done, so waiting is now even more painful!

I knooow, I just want to reach into the screen and grab them out of their little hands. And looking at all of them, I'd rather just get a nice delivery with all three stacked up.

I don't think 4 months is that long? The three white boards in the first studio update indicate that they were pretty organized from the beginning. In fact, according to the Rolling Stone article, they proposed the three album idea a few months before they entered the studio in February. Moreover, due to the extensive amount of pre-production they typically do for an album (i.e., rehearsing), it usually doesn't take them that long to record. In short, compared to the 21st Century Breakdown recording process, it seems the band had a much clearer idea of what they wanted to accomplish.

I don't think 4 months is that long? I can't remember when or where but I know they laid down some early demos in 2010 during their European tour just to get everything down in some basic form. That's when we got our first recording of Stay the Night. So they've been working on some of these songs for years so it's pretty reasonable to think they just needed to go in and record the final versions
