Ferna Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 There's now one less mystery surrounding Guns N' Roses' entrance into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: Green Day will deliver their induction speech. While Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler and Matt Sorum have all indicated they'll be present at the April 14th ceremony in Cleveland, members Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin and Dizzy Reed have yet to publicly confirm their attendance. If Rose doesn't show, it's unlikely that the group will perform – and it's unclear whether or not Green Day will play in their place. Read more: http://www.rollingst...3#ixzz1r0l9JbHe Holy Shit! The super Band inducts the super Jungle Band XD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQBYgDCcZ6M

WestboundSign! Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 This sounds pretty awesome! And I actually can't wait until Green Day are old enough to be included in the Rock 'n' Roll hall of fame themselves!
alaniluau Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 This is great news! I bet the boys are super honored. And I'll have a valid reason to watch this year.
Hermione Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 LOL Green Day is such a strange choice to induct Guns and Roses! The Stooges I get but this is just weird, the only connection is that they play that little piss-take cover of Sweet Child O Mine from time to time . I love it. Bring on the awesomely awkward speech and hopefully a Green Day performance
San Miguel Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 wouldn't it great if they took the opportunity to play a new song, or announce the album release date. not really what they are there for, but would still be cool...

They'd never take away the spotlight from the band that's being honoured like that, it'd be very rude!
Alan86 Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 LOL Green Day is such a strange choice to induct Guns and Roses! Exactly my reaction. Green Day and Guns N Roses are so different that it seems a very strange choice. I tried to think of anything the bands have in common and this is what I came up with. 1. Both band names start with the letter "G" ...... And that's pretty much it
